The new year means new media! Here are just 5 of the television shows we're looking forward to in the first few months of 2025!

1. "Doc" (Fox)

In this new twist on the classic medical drama, Molly Parker plays Dr. Amy Larsen, the chief of internal medicine at the fictional Westside Hospital, who suffers a brain injury that causes her to lose her memory of the last 8 years. The show follows her as she rebuilds her life around the things she’s missed, including a divorce from her husband, a new relationship, and a mysterious tragedy that caused her to push others away. “'Doc' carves out a distinct lane for itself in a genre that frequently feels repetitive and overdone,” said Aramide Tinubu on Rotten Tomatoes. The pilot is a wonderful hook, and we know that we are excited to follow Dr. Larsen’s tumultuous recovery! After premiering on Fox on January , "Doc" is available to stream on Hulu. You can currently watch the first 4 episodes, with new episodes airing on Tuesdays at 9pm.

2. "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" (January 29, Disney+)

If live-action television isn’t your thing, you should be looking forward to "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", starring Hudson Thames as Peter Parker in an animated world that nods to the character’s comic book roots. This will be a Spider-Man adventure unlike any seen before, featuring familiar faces (or voices, as the case may be) including Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, Doctor Octopus, and the Scorpion. “Maybe you don’t know everything,” said head writer Jeff Trammell.

3. "Apple Cider Vinegar" (February 6, Netflix)
For the true crime fans of the world, we’re looking forward to "Apple Cider Vinegar" on Netflix. Based on the book The Woman Who Fooled The World by journalists Beau Donnelly and Nick Toscano, "Apple Cider Vinegar" is an upcoming limited series following real-life Australian health influencer Belle Gibson (played by Kaitlyn Dever) who uses her online platform to spread wellness misinformation and pseudoscience in order to "help" people. Gibson takes it too far when she claims that she has been diagnosed with cancer and is successfully managing it with at-home do-it-yourself remedies. This lie eventually implodes around her.

4. "The Studio" (March 26, AppleTV+)

I’m personally most looking forward to comedy king Seth Rogen’s new series on Apple TV, "The Studio". Rogen stars as the recently appointed head of the fictional movie studio, Continental Films. He must attempt to save the struggling studio while balancing creative ambitions, celebrity personalities, and executive interest. With a star-studded cast including Kathryn Hahn and Catherine O’Hara and guests like Zac Efron, Anthony Mackie, Martin Scorsese, and Zoë Kravitz, we're sure this will be a wonderful romp.

5. "The Residence" (March 20, Netflix)

Fans of shows like "How to Get Away With Murder" or "Grey’s Anatomy" may want to perk up in anticipation of Netflix’s upcoming political drama, "The Residence". Produced by Shondaland, "The Residence" takes place in the “upstairs, downstairs, and backstairs” of the White House after a murder scandal involving its staff. The show follows eccentric detective Cordelia Cupp (Uzo Aduba) as she unravels the mystery, along with the interpersonal drama of 157 White House staff members.
