Snoop Dogg

What up though? This is Big Snoop Dogg and you watching Young Hollywood. You dig?

Young Hollywood

Okay, we got Snoop Dogg in the house. Now, before we get to this amazing jewelry line, all that you have created, you and I have something in common.

Snoop Dogg

Talk to me.

Young Hollywood

We share the same birthday, friend.

Snoop Dogg

Oh, you a Libra gang? October 20th. Happy birthday to you, baby. Happy birthday!

Young Hollywood

It just passed. What do you get the guy who has everything, who has created everything, who has done everything?

Snoop Dogg

Give him love. Love. That don't cost nothing to get somebody love.

Young Hollywood

That's awesome. So, Love Child, your new endeavor, an amazing jewelry line. You're an artist, rapper, TV host, owner, Death Row Records. Now we got jewelry. Break it down, what inspired you to tap into this?

Snoop Dogg

Well, jewelry has always been, you know, a part of my ensemble, but I wanted to make something that was dear to my heart that everybody could wear. The whole family could wear. And so this Love Child line is about the kids, the grandkids, the wife, the, you know. It's all about love. So that's why I chose to call it Love Child. And it's with some of the greatest people that know how to put together the look in the line. And we own every piece of it. We're not just doing a branding deal, but we create this from start to finish. From the creation of the links to the looks, to the styles, to actually wearing it, to making sure it feels good, and then presenting it.

Young Hollywood

Now, the hip-hop culture, rap, influences fashion for decades. How is that tapped into what you created?

Snoop Dogg

I mean, I think I'm a fashion statement. I think I actually, you know, inspire daily. So I just want to take another piece of me and actually give you a piece of me because musically you can't really hold me anymore or touch me. You just hear me. But this piece, you can actually wear it and you can be a piece of me and you can have a piece of me and feel the same way I feel when you moving with it.

Young Hollywood

Look what I wore for you. Oh my God. I love that. Isn't that amazing? I love that Snoopy. That's my little brother. That's right. And people don't know why your name's Snoopy. It has nothing to do with music or rap.

Snoop Dogg

No, no, it's, it's Snoopy from the Peanuts, man. Um, you know, big ol' kid. He was my favorite. He's still my favorite. You know what? Tell me. You never know. I I've been talking to him lately. So me and him may be in the works on working on something.

Young Hollywood

Tell me. What do you got?

Snoop Dogg

Me and Snoopy, we've been talking, you know, I finally got back in touch with my little brother. So he's proud of me. So we're going to figure something out and make something happen.

Young Hollywood

Okay, you talked about your music. It's coming of age material for millions of people. Was that your intention back in the day, or what did you really want to put out there and what it's become now?

Snoop Dogg

I was just representing me and just trying to, you know, be the best version of me at the time and it stood the test of time.

Young Hollywood

And talk about your like Long Beach roots that's still part of you to this day.

Snoop Dogg

LBC. That's where I'm from. I can't deny it. I I mean, that's who I am. I take it with me everywhere I go. That's what I attribute to all of my success and my skills to, because it was a place where I learned how to be me. It was a place where originality was was was taught. It was a place where people championed people for being themselves. So now that I've made it to the top of the pinnacle by being myself, I always keep that with me. So when the next one from Long Beach comes up, they can keep the same, you know what I'm saying, main ingredients.

Young Hollywood

This is your Gin and Juice line, sir. Congrats on the beautiful jewelry line. Toast to success and nothing less. Go get you some. Cheers.

Snoop Dogg

Tedees. Grapple. That's really gin. And juice. Cheers, man. Happy birthday.

Young Hollywood

Thank you, baby.

Snoop Dogg

Same to you. Thank you.
