Our 9 Favorite Taylor Swift Collabs (So Far)!
Taylor Swift recently made pop headlines for bringing rapper Ice Spice out on stage with her in New Jersey following the release of their collaborative remix of Swift’s song "Karma", and earlier this month, she announced some new collabs that will be featured on her upcoming Speak Now (Taylor's Version) release. Taylor is certainly not new to working with other artists, whether it’s through creating a new song together or putting a twist on a record that’s already been released. Here’s a roundup of some of her best musical collaborations (so far)!
1. "Everything Has Changed" feat. Ed Sheeran
This sweet love song features long-time friend of Taylor’s, British singer Ed Sheeran. Ed’s likeness can also be found in the music video, where a little boy with ginger hair is the love interest of a little girl modeled after Taylor. Taylor and Ed have worked together since and released a remix of his song "Joker and The Queen" together early last year!
2. "Bad Blood" feat. Kendrick Lamar
The remix of "Bad Blood" featuring Kendrick Lamar was also the backbone of an iconic collaborative music video, which guest-starred friends of Taylor like Gigi Hadid and "SVU"'s Detective Olivia Benson herself, Mariska Hargita y.
3. B.o.B's "Both of Us"
Taylor got to experience being the featured artist on this inspiring B.o.B song about overcoming hardships and made an appearance in the touching music video that was released alongside it. Taylor and B.o.B co-wrote the song together after Taylor came up with the idea when visiting his record label on a trip to Atlanta!
4. Tim McGraw's "Highway Don’t Care" feat. Keith Urban
One of Taylor’s earliest musical collabs was working with both Tim McGraw and Keith Urban on the country hit “Highway Don’t Care”. It’s a timeless listen for fans of the music Taylor got her start with, and was described by critics at the time as a “special moment from first listen.”
5. "Anti-Hero" feat. Bleachers
"Anti-Hero" has a number of remixes, but the remix featuring her producer Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers might be the best, and the lyric change “Taylor you’ll be fine!” has even become a chant during the Eras Tour!
6. "Snow on The Beach" feat. Lana Del Rey
While the original "Snow on The Beach" track features Lana Del Rey on backing vocals, the recently released re-recording featuring “More Lana” takes the cake, with fans getting a wishlist item with the singer and friend of Taylor having a whole verse.
7. "No Body No Crime" feat. Haim
This mystery-themed song that fits right into a playlist with "Goodbye Earl" doesn’t just feature the Haim sisters' vocals -- Este Haim is written into the song as the main character, whose murder sparks a self-led investigation by Taylor into her fictional ex-husband, who, by the bridge of the song, is also murdered.
8. Haim's "Gasoline"
Taylor’s friendship with the Haim sisters has resulted in her being a featured artist on a track by them, specifically the angsty love song "Gasoline" off their album Women in Music Pt. III, released in 2020 just a month before folklore!
9. "Nothing New" feat. Phoebe Bridgers
Taylor’s collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers for Red (Taylor’s Version) resulted in the "Scott Street" singer joining her on a leg of The Eras Tour to perform the number. Both artists were seen getting emotional on the last night of the leg when Phoebe referred to Taylor as her hero.
