Pop star Lily Allen stunned British singer Sam Smith when she took to Twitter.com to confirm they are related.
The Smile hitmaker received a tweet from Smith informing her that his parents were adamant he is a cousin of Allen and her actor brother Alfie, and he was surprised when she reached out to confirm it.
Smith tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "She's my cousin but I've only met her once in my entire life. My family told me for years that she's my cousin... I never believed them so I tweeted her and she tweeted me back saying that we are cousins."
