At long last, the Barbie press run is here, and Warner Bros. is NOT holding back! Here’s a highlight reel of some of the most iconic moments (so far)!

1. Sydney Press

One of the first stops on the world tour that Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling teased in early June was Margot’s home country of Australia! After a press conference with a view of a Barbie-themed pool out the window, cast members walked the pink carpet for an event with fans.

The next stop on the tour is Seoul, South Korea, where over the weekend Margot treated Barbie fans to this recreation of the doll's iconic day-to-night looks!

After South Korea, the cast will be jetting off to Mexico City!

2. The Fashion

One of the most highly-anticipated aspects of the press run has been the fashion, specifically when it comes to the Barbie girl herself, Margot Robbie. After months of anticipation from fashion and Barbie enthusiasts alike, Margot and stylist Andrew Mukamai have exceeded expectations! Whether it’s strutting through the airport in a pink Chanel blazer or doing interviews in a doll-inspired polka dot dress, Margot is making a statement everywhere she goes, much like her doll counterpart. Her most iconic look so far was definitely the black-and-white striped fit inspired by the original Barbie doll from 1959. Alongside the custom Herve Leger dress, Margot twinned with Barbie right down to her high ponytail and red fingernail polish.

3. The Dreamhouse

Life in plastic is fantastic nowhere more so than at the Barbie dreamhouse! This famous Barbie-inspired Airbnb in Malibu, California, got a neon pink revamp just in time for the release of Barbie on July 21. Guests can raid a Barbie (And Ken)-inspired wardrobe, line dance on the outdoor disco floor, sunbathe by the infinity pool, and more! Interested? Be sure to set your calendar for 10am PDT on July 17 and go to the official Airbnb listing for your chance to nab a stay at the dreamhouse.

4. TIME Magazine

No press run is complete without a few magazine covers! Barbie cast members Margot Robbie, Issa Rae, Alexandra Shipp, Kate McKinnon, and Hari Nef recently graced the cover of TIME Magazine in conjunction with a feature about how the film came to life. Highlights include Margot taking readers behind the scenes of the iconic tip-toes shot from the trailer, Kate McKinnon unpacking the intent behind ‘Weird Barbie’, and insight from director Greta Gerwig. Read the feature and watch cast members play a Barbie doll dress-up challenge game here!

5. Brand Partnerships

Another staple of the press run for Barbie is the ever-growing list of brand partnerships that have been put together to promote the film. Have a gamer in your life that loves all things Barbie? Make sure to keep them in the loop with how they can win a Barbie Dreamhouse-themed Xbox Console! If you’re in the market for a new washable rug and want to add a pop of Barbie to your space, then Ruggable has just the collection for you. With new partnerships dropping almost daily, keep an eye on the official Barbiesocial pages to be sure you don’t miss one!
