The 3 Best Pumpkin Patches In America!

Written by Brittany Taormina. Published: October 26 2016

It’s that time of year again to carve pumpkins and bake seeds -- Yum!

Everyone loves finding the best pumpkin in the patch. Part of the adventure is actually going to a pumpkin farm to find the very best. Here are 3 of the best pumpkin patches to visit in America!

1. Swank Farms (Hollister, California)

Here’s a farm in Northern California where you are sure to find the perfect pumpkin. While you search for your pumpkin, you can also enjoy other attractions at the farm, including the Maniac Maze and Terror In The Corn, which is located deep inside a cornfield. Each year is based on a different theme; it’s scary but an awesome experience. This year’s theme is Notorious New Orleans. Maniac Maze, on the other hand, is a massive maze that you have to try and navigate through. It’s tough! Come and find the ultimate pumpkin and get a good spook!

2. Yahoo Farm (Jasper, Georgia)

Ever wanted to visit the Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains? Well, now you can! With just an hour drive out of Atlanta, you can find a field of pumpkins as well as a multitude of attractions, including Corn Cannon, Fossil & Gem Grubbin, Yahoo Hayride, Cosmic Corn Maze, Haunted Hayride, Butterfly & Flower Garden, Cute Cuddly Animals, and Pumpkin Hunt. You can enjoy pumpkin cupcakes too!

3.The Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze (Croton-on-Hudson, New York)

This is not your typical pumpkin patch, but it should definitely be on your bucket list. If you want to see an awesome display of jack o’ lanterns, you’ve come to the right place. This is a popular walk-through with over 7,000 hand-carved pumpkins in an 18th century riverside Van Cordlandt Manor which has belonged to some of New York’s most prominent families. Starting in 2005, this event has continued to grow with guests from all over the country. Actor Neil Patrick Harris and his family love Blaze!

BONUS: If you're in Los Angeles during the Halloween season, be sure to hit up Mr. Bones for all sorts of family-friendly Fall fun! We went there with "Big Time Rush" star James Maslow and had a blast!
