Tatyana Ali is set to explore her Latin family roots during a new episode of TV show Passport.
The former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star recently visited Panama to trace her family's heritage and culture and now she'll share her emotional journey with fans on TV show Passport: Panama on Tuesday (08Nov11).
The project gave the budding singer a chance to fulfil her dream of performing in front of a live audience in Spanish - with reggaeton band Los Rabanes.
She says, "It's much easier to know exactly where you're going when you know where you come from."
Ali isn't the first star to explore her family history on the show - actor Wilmer Valderrama recently starred in Passport: Venezuela and Happy Feet's Carlos Alazraqui also featured in Passport: Argentina.
