Catchin' Up with Wilmer Valderrama

Welcome to Younghollywood.com. I'm Oliver Trevena here at the Day Zero Premiere with the man himself, the star of the show, Wilmer Valderrama.

How are you guys? Good to see you, Young Hollywood.

So tell us a bit about this film.

It's a very entertaining movie. It's a lot of fun things to watch, you know, and, uh, and I play my first bad guy, so that's, uh, that's kinda fun.

It's a massive change from, obviously, you know, the '70s show and stuff like that.

Yeah, it's very different. It's very different, man. I put everything that I knew aside, and, uh, and I did what I, what I had to do for this role and hopefully all the fans and everybody, you know, appreciates it.

We're gonna see Wilmer's mean side. That's right, see that. So what's it like working with, uh, Laurence Fishburne? Legend.

He's great, man. He's great. Just the fact that he's in the movie is a fantastic, uh, presence, you know? I mean, the cast is amazing. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Taye Diggs, Devon Benner, corrupt, you know, I mean, the cast really, really showed up. I'm proud of it. It's actually, uh, a very powerful message. A message that I think that, uh, really hits home to a lot of people. A lot of things that we see in, uh, in the news, a lot of things that we read about in newspapers. Uh, we talk about it, and we show it, and, uh, and we see how it affects all of us directly and indirectly. Send the message across.

Now, you're too busy to turn up on the soccer field, so what are you doing? You never show up anymore. Soccer, every once in a while. And now he's just disappeared from the game.

Yeah, you know, when, when, you know, when duty calls. We're shooting a bunch of things. I'm producing a couple of shows right now. A couple of things for Fox, and there's something coming up pretty soon that, uh, you guys will all hear about it.

You've got your hands in loads of different pies, as my mom would say.

Yeah, yeah, I mean, you gotta keep it movin', you know? You gotta keep it movin', yeah.

Keep it busy, keep it busy. So, uh, I'm sure there's lots of ladies out there, love life, single, partying. What are you doing?

I don't know, why don't you tell them? Why don't you go bring a single out, man? Come on.
