More than 1,000 mourners paid tribute to late model/actor Sam Sarpong at his memorial service on Saturday (21Nov15).
The 40-year-old British actor/model died last month (Oct15) after jumping from a bridge in Los Angeles, and his family and friends gathered at the Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch, California to pay their respects.
Sarpong, who was best known as a co-host of the BET Awards' pre-show All Access and MTV's Yo Momma, was remembered in an emotional eulogy by his father, Sam Sarpong, Sr., while bosses at the BET Network presented a tribute video commemorating the TV personality's work.
According to Access Hollywood, Sarpong's Yo Momma co-host Wilmer Valderrama also attended the service to pay tribute to his late friend.
