Round-up of Daisy Edgar-Jones's Best 'Twisters' Press Tour Fits!
Daisy Edgar-Jones has been stepping out in some amazing looks leading up to the premiere of Twisters (2024). Her promotional outfits have been showcased on red carpets, in interviews, and on talk shows -- each one better than the last! Her stunning style is all thanks to her stylist Dani Michelle, who has been curating looks for the public eye since long before the press for Twisters. Her client list contains a long array of A-list celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and Elsa Hosk. Her current collaboration with Edgar-Jones has been a showcase of incredible design and great fashion.
Starting with their first look for the Twisters star, Michelle styled this denim-on-denim look, a full Gucci outfit that manages to feel smart and structured while still simple. The stylist plays with dimensions given the oversized denim jacket paired with the short tank top and short shorts.
Michelle’s third look for Daisy consisted of another matching set, this time from Philosophy di Lorenzo. This marks the start of Michelle’s attention to movement in her designs for Daisys. The light linen of the fabric contrasts the shape of the suit-styled look creating a sense of flow to the material.
Michelle’s keen ability to gather pieces that redesign their original structure is a constant in her work with Daisy Edgar-Jones. These tan overall shorts make for a cute singular piece, but as Michelle styles it with a kitten heel and matching belt, the look suddenly reimagines itself as a sophisticated outfit.
Dani Michelle has an incredible eye for making looks that are singular in their own respect but, as a whole, create cohesion. As Edgar-Jones steps out in each look, they always stun but also compliment the last. In this styling from Michelle, Edgar-Jones dons knee-length shorts that match the aesthetic of her previous look and a simple black tube top.
Edgar-Jones rocked this Elie Saab ensemble for a photoshoot in Miami. The otherwise simple shape brings in elements of complexity with its all lace bralette top and oversized white scarf. Dani Michelle further accessorized the look with a pair of chunky framed white sunglasses.
One of the more playful looks of Michelle’s collection, this Schiaparelli red sheath dress pops in color compared to the last looks. Then paired with the fringe cropped jacket, the outfit adds that movement that Michelle seeks out for each look.
The London premiere look is Michelle’s best look thus far. The Vivienne Westwood custom design is absolutely breathtaking. Opting for more subtle jewelry, Michelle chooses to let the celebrity designer dress speak for itself. The mix of structured draping with the sheer accents makes for a gorgeous design and perfect premiere dress.
Daisy Edgar-Jones, after the photocall in London, slipped into this black mini-dress. Partnered with black boots, this marks another Gucci look for the duo. This look is much more structured than the previous look, but obviously still allows for more fun!
Another Gucci look from Dani Michelle, this time for the Los Angeles premiere. The dress, as many of Michelle’s stylings, features an incredibly chic look with a surprise twist. The open back to this dress adds a fun touch to the look. Styled further with a gold cuff and chunky ring, Edgar-Jones looks more like a goddess than an actress.
This simple outfit is ultra sophisticated and effortlessly worn with slightly ruffled hair and sunglasses. The black blazer and capri pants paired together create a relaxed version of a suit with a highly tailored edge.
Michelle styles Edgar-Jones in another matching set for an event at Universal Studios. The look takes on a simple structure as the color pattern and texture build a complexity. The almost earthy feel to the fabric acts as a nod toward the nature-rooted plot of the Twisters film.
Edgar-Jones wore a silver metallic dress to the special screening of Twisters in Oklahoma City. Michelle paired the mini-dress with matching silver metallic heels. The dress touched on Michelle’s attention to movement, taking the theme into a new direction as she chose a look with textured fabrics. This complemented the previous look she chose for the actress, which had a similarly dynamic fabric.
A third play on texture in this collaboration comes with Daisy Edgar-Jones’s look for a July promo shoot. The peplum top is from Christopher Esber’s runway this year paired with a pair of micro shorts and snakeskin flats.
Dani Michelle makes another effortlessly cool outfit with a 16Arlington dress paired with gold drop heels and yet another set of sunglasses. The mix of textures from the sheer top to the pleated skirt of the dress is incredibly well-designed. This then accessorized with a mini shoulder bag makes for a perfect night out look.
Dani Michelle’s ode to flow comes in the next looks as she designs outfits that play with structure and movement to the max. This couture look is another of Victoria Beckham’s designs. Michelle styles the look with strappy heels and chunky jewelry.
To announce the film’s release, Michelle shared her latest outfit for the "Normal People" actress. A final hooray to the collaboration, and a personal favorite, this blue Chloé two-piece is an absolutely beautiful look. The layered fabrics around the waist and sleeves build shape without weighing the outfit down. Unlike outfits before, Michelle doesn’t shy away from accessorizing. She styles the matching set with the same boldness of the set itself and it works. The chunky necklace grounds the airy look and the sunglasses cut the chicness with a cool girl vibe.
A partner look in terms of design to the previous look, this outfit from Dani Michelle’s Daisy Era is totally boho inspired. The mini-dress takes on the same airy vibes from the previous blue ensemble. Complemented once again with a chunky necklace, this time Michelle gives some edge to the look with the layered necklaces and oversized shoulder bag. The look is paired once again with thin sunglasses.
Sheer fabrics appear as a trend in the collaborative looks between Danie Michelle and Daisy Edgar-Jones. Similarly, so do the use of oversized blazers. This look shared by Edgar-Jones consists of an oversized blazer, mini-skirt, and sheer knee-high socks.
This all-white look is actually a matching set from Sportmax. Like many of the looks we’ve seen from Dani Michelle, the outfit has its own draped and structured design that she coolly accessorizes with simple accents, like the sunglasses, mini purse, and chunky earrings.
Twisters is now in theatres!
