Hey guys, Leslie here. Welcome back to Young Hollywood. Today we are hanging with this awesome gal, South Korean artist Eve. You're back in Los Angeles. Welcome back.
Thank you for inviting me. Thank you.
Yeah. We are hanging at the Alex Theater. It's the LA leg of your tour. How is LA treating you so far? So, is there something specific that LA fans bring out in your performance? Well, here you are on the LA stop, but touring can be exhausting. How do you stay grounded going from city to city to city? You've been touring around the world recently. How has your relationship with touring changed from your early solo shows? So, fans online think of your shows as intimate, immersive. What do you want fans to leave the venue with after they see you perform? I would say confident and experimental are two words I would use to describe Nail, your latest EP. So, tell me what part of yourself did you want fans to see in this EP? So, with this EP, you've actually really been heavily involved in the production, the creativity side of it. What have you learned about yourself? Was there a moment when you were making Nail that you said, okay, this is what I want fans to see about me. So, you've reinvented yourself several times in your career now. What does success look like to you? Have you reached it or are you not there yet? What does it look like? Coming off of the fun and the joy and the happy, do you feel that outside of your career? So, which Eve song best represents your on stage personality, your off stage personality, and your 3:00 a. m. mindset?
In stage personality? Mmm, Nail. Because charismatic and energetic and proud moment. And off stage moment like goldfishy. Very introverted person and calm. And 3:00 a. m. moment like, ah, TikTok. Yeah. I'm very, um, because I'm sleep late, I'm sleep late, so that time I always listen music and dance alone. So, like TikTok music.
What time do you go to sleep and what time do you wake up?
I go to bed at 12:00 o'clock and crawling leave six hours. And wake up 1:00 p. m. or 2:00 p. m.
Wow. So, where do you find the energy to perform?
My fans, from fans.
Do you have a message for your fans?
Hi, fans. Uh, thank you for being my fan and I want to say I always love you guys and so, uh, please supporting me always. I love you all. Thank you. Mwah.
