After the absolute hit that was Queendom, K-Pop group Red Velvet is back eight months later with another banger, “Feel My Rhythm.” Yesterday (March 21), the group released their latest EP The ReVe Festival 2022 -- Feel My Rhythm.

Red Velvet -- compromised of five members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri -- made their debut back in 2014 with the song “Happiness”, with four members; later on, Yeri was added in their 1st mini-album, Ice Cream Cake. The girls hinted at a comeback during SM Entertainment’s New Year’s Eve concert, SMTOWN LOVE 2022, on December 31st. Since then, the girls would continue to talk about their excitement to work together again this year.

In February, Wendy talked to Pinkvilla after the comeback was confirmed and said, “I'm looking forward to the moment when I'll be with the members again this year,” The teaser was released last week and created a lot of talk within the Revluv fandom.

“Feel My Rhythm” was highly anticipated and was a best seller before it was released, hitting over 500K pre-orders before the music video even dropped. After the teaser, fans were excited to hear that there was going to be one last addition to “The ReVe Festival” series after believing that “Queendom” would be the last. So, to show their support, they made it a bestseller. This would be the group’s first ever half-million selling album, and we expect those numbers to continue to grow during its release!

The song was dubbed as a continuation to the Red Velvet iconic Spring Queens title, and it didn’t fail us. The song showcases the girls channeling their inner ballerinas and picturesque visuals; it is in the dance-pop genre and will for sure have you on your feet. The song also includes a sample of the classical composer Bach’s “Air on G string”, giving the song a soft classical melody layered with powerful trap beats, thus creating our next favorite dance hit.

Back in February, Red Velvet announced they’ll be holding an upcoming two-day concert called "The ReVe Festival: Prologue" on March 19 and 20 at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea. Their March 20 show will also be available to stream online for fans around the world.

The mini-album features six songs, “Feel My Rhythm”, “Rainbow Halo”, “Beg For Me”, “Bamboleo”, “Good, Bad, Ugly”, and “In My Dreams”. It’s available on all streaming sites now!
