Rapper Common has booked his next acting role in dark comedy All About Nina.
The Glory hitmaker will star alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the film about a burgeoning stand-up comedienne, who has a disastrous personal life. Common will play a character named Rafe, who helps Winstead's character Nina deal with her past, according to Deadline.
The semi-autobiographical film will serve as screenwriter Eva Vives' directorial debut. She will also produce the project, which co-stars Beau Bridges, Kate Del Castillo, and Chace Crawford.
Common has starred in several films including Suicide Squad, John Wick: Chapter 2, and Wanted.
