Our Favorite Looks From The 2022 BET Awards!

The 2022 BET Awards took place last night (June 26) in Los Angeles and was hosted by the beautiful Taraji P. Henson for the second year in a row. With performances from Latto & Mariah Carey, Jack Harlow & Lil Wayne, and many more major artists, the BET Awards were the place to be! The celebs came in hot this year with looks that just had to be recognized. So, here are a few of our favorites!

1. Taraji P. Henson

Our lovely host of the night rocked many looks throughout the show but was sure to start off her night swinging! Rocking an extra-long sleek ponytail and a bold red lip, Henson wore a rhinestone-studded Tom Ford gown with a steel chain strap wrapped around her neck for a bit of edge!

2. Diddy

Honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, the music mogul looked as good as he felt! Alongside his mother, Diddy walked the red carpet in a sleek yet fun hot pink suit styled with a white button-down and finished with black patent leather dress shoes.

3. Marsai Martin

The "Black-ish" starlet looked all grown-up on the red carpet last night! Shining from head to toe, Martin wore a custom glittering silver Dolce & Gabbana asymmetrical dress and paired it with matching metallic silver platform sandals!

4. Chloe Bailey

Looking as hot as her performance, the singer gave us elegance with a twist on the red carpet last night. Completed with a dramatic wing eyeliner and a sleek ponytail, Bailey wore a black sequin gown with a whimsical bodice that added some spice to her look.

5. Halle Bailey & DDG

It's an all-black affair as the other half of the Chloe x Halle duo showed up to the red carpet with her new boyfriend, DDG. Halle Bailey wore a black corset top with a plunging V-neck and a skirt that perfectly sat on her hips, while rapper DDG “matched her fly” with a complementary black Prada outfit.

6. Lizzo

It’s fair to say that Lizzo stole the show before it even began! With all eyes on her, Lizzo walked the red carpet with a custom navy Gucci gown with bell sleeves, a high thigh slit, and feathers galore. Her look was completed with a hairstyle featuring finger waves that fit her aesthetic of the night perfectly.

Honorable Mention: Jack Harlow

Singer Jack Harlow had everyone abuzz when he hit the red carpet to pay tribute to the notoriously snubbed Lil Nas X. The rapper doesn't even have to be there in person to make waves and we love it!
