Our Favorite Dance Numbers From "Dancing With The Stars" Season 34!

Written by Ayla Nye. Published: November 25 2025

Audiences have been amazed by the talent of the celebrities competing on "Dancing with the Stars" this year, with fan favorites like Robert Irwin, Whitney Leavitt, and Alix Earle all competing for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy. In celebration of the finale airing November 25, let’s talk about some of our favorite dance numbers from this season!

1. Robert Irwin and Witney Carson's Premiere Jive

Audiences expected a lot from Robert Irwin, given his big sister Bindi Irwin was the champion of Season 21 of "DWTS". Luckily, Robert did not disappoint, proving that the dancing gene runs in the family and surpassing expectations with an electric, high-energy jive.

2. Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas's Disney Night Foxtrot

Leavitt had been a frontrunner for most of the season, consistently wowing audiences with her impressive skill, so it was no surprise when she absolutely nailed this number. Dancing to a cover of "Room Where It Happens" from Hamilton, she and Ballas delivered a performance brimming with chemistry — both with each other and with the audience — that was nothing short of magnetic.

3. Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten's Wicked Night Contemporary

With beautiful choreography and a quick change leading into an epic finale, this piece was a true showstopper, cementing itself as one of the night’s best. Hendrix and Bersten performed a contemporary number to "Defying Gravity" from the Wicked soundtrack, stunning viewers with their emotional intensity and physical skill.

4. Andy Richter and Emma Slater's Wicked Night Jazz

Richter, another fan favorite, delivered a standout jazz number choreographed to “One Short Day". His energy perfectly matched the song’s playful tone, making the performance an instant delight for everyone watching. It was clear from start to finish that Richter was having an absolute blast on stage.

5. Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy's Disney Night Waltz

This Viennese waltz to "Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping Beauty was utterly hypnotizing. It’s no wonder Earle has established herself as one of the season’s top contestants — her grace and natural talent for dance are especially evident in this number. She moves as if she’s floating across the stage.

6. Robert Irwin and Witney Carson's Dedication Night Contemporary

This number had audiences reaching for the tissue box. Irwin shared that the piece was dedicated to his mom, Terri Irwin, and that emotion was unmistakably evident on the dance floor. While viewers already knew he could deliver high-energy, upbeat routines, they were floored — and pleasantly surprised — by the grace and vulnerability he revealed on stage in this contemporary performance.
