1. Iron Man (2008): Nick Fury Introduction

The one to start them all! The post-credit scene after the first Iron Man movie kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this scene, we are introduced to Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, who tells Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) about the Avengers for the first time. While a decade later, it might seem obvious to us that the Avengers would be the next great thing, but in 2008, all that hinted at it was a simple 1-minute post-credit scene between RDJ and SLJ. 2. Napoleon Dynamite (2004): The Wedding

This hilarious offbeat comedy starring Jon Heder has one of the greatest post-credit scenes in comedic history. Throughout the film, Napoleon's brother has a girlfriend, Lafawanduh, and they have a hilarious romantic relationship throughout the entire film. In the post-credits scene, we finally get a glimpse of what happened to their characters. In the scene, the brother sings to his bride a hilariously awful love song.
