Actress Nina Dobrev has been left with a scar and permanent nerve damage in her thumb following a monkey bite.
Earlier this year (14), The Vampire Diaries star visited Bali, where she came in contact with a vicious primate at an animal sanctuary, and she still hasn't recovered from her encounter.
She says, "Everybody made a joke like, 'Oh, you're the vampire girl (in the show), you're going to turn into a monkey now'. There's a joke with all my friends, I'm the klutziest (clumsiest) person in the world, anything bad that could potentially happen always does.
"So now I have a scar... and no feeling in my thumb. I can move it..., but he bit the the nerve and now I can't feel anything."
