TikTok Stars Zoe Laverne & Cody Orlove Answer Burning Questions

Hi, my name is Cody Orlove.

And I'm Zoe LaVerne.

And we're here today with Young Hollywood, answering some burning questions.

You wanna start?

Yeah, so basically, I met Cody on social media. It was musically at this at the time. And I had found him on like, was it a For You page when musically was a thing or was it called something else?

It was something else.

But I found him on there and I I followed him, and I commented on his musically, and I added him on Snapchat, and then he added me back and it was kind of like, you know, not to be cringe or anything but love at first sight I guess, right? Like

Yeah, it was, it was kinda just meant to be. It was love at first sight. We kinda just first connected when we first met and we just kinda separate.

Yeah, pretty much that. And it's all history from there.

The hardest Tik Tok I've ever done was probably learning how to backflip like into my pool. So I had to backflip for this Tik Tok but I did not know how to backflip at the time, so I just had a, It was a mess.

Um, the hardest Tik Tok I've ever done was I used to do like, I do these like on Halloween, I do these like makeup where like I recreate like scary characters like off of scary movies. And I did a Chucky look and it was actually very challenging, but I think I nailed it. So, I do remember that.

I would definitely choose Nina Dobrev. She's literally an icon. I love her. I found her off of The Vampire Diaries and she just, I don't know something about her I just love. And I would just love to meet her and like get to make a Tik Tok with her.

For me personally, I would do Paul Wesley, which is also from The Vampire Diaries. We're kinda a little bit obsessed with them.

We're really obsessed.

But, I would love to recreate the acting scenes in in the Tik Tok and using the Tik Tok sounds.

Yeah. I would love that. I think that would be really fun.

That'd be so fun.

At the time it was musically. It was definitely just for fun. I didn't know what I was doing. I was just a little kid trying to fit in, trying to be normal. I was a annoying teenage girl who was just bored, and thought it would be fun to get on the app and be myself cuz, you know, in school I couldn't always be myself. So.

Yeah, I think it was definitely our safe place.

I would have no idea. I'm trying to think. Um, oh yeah, I do remember. Right when Tik Tok, um, right when musically turned into Tik Tok. I did the sound that was like, we're not musers anymore, we're clockers. And I had like a funny filter on my face. I remember that.

I did like Tik Tok on the clock and I forgot what I did, but. Yeah. It was just like the sound Tik Tok from Ke$ha or whatever.

Right. Tik Tok on the clock. Yeah, you're right.

We're a little bit clumsy. So we definitely like fall in our videos. I would say, we haven't really gotten like actually hurt, like injured. What'd you say?

I don't think so. Nope. No. Not like I broke my foot injured or anything but. I'm trying to remember specifically. I don't think so. I think we just fall a lot. We're just very clumsy.

There was this like, it wasn't really being injured, but I was trying to dance and my little puppy was literally eating my ankle.

Probably the Tik Tok where I was trying to backflip. I think that I would be able to do a Tik Tok dance on the first try, to be honest.

I think for dancing, yeah, but you also gotta like, you always make sure to check yourself out and be like, "Oh, that part doesn't look good." Yeah. So, depending, she could probably do the dance perfectly on the first try. So, I'm gonna I'm gonna give it to her. Tik Tok queen.

No. No, no.

Yeah. We are soulmates. We definitely believe in being soulmates. Me and Zoe are just so alike. We, we're just weird. We're weird together and that's what makes us us. A little too weird sometimes, but. What's that one song? Oh, if you're ready then she'da put a ring on it. That's that's my go-to song.

Now that is a fun song. Honestly, my favorite song since I was like little, like not like baby baby but you know like a lil little. Um you know that song that's like, "Hey, hey, you, you!" by Avril Lavigne. Love that song. Even though like it's not like meant for going on a first date. I just think it's It just keeps you hyped, you know? You're just like, you feel the vibe.
