Biting Necks with Nina Dobrev

Welcome to YoungHollywood. com. Hey guys, it's Michelle Marie coming to you from the Muscle Milk Light Fitness Retreat. I'm here with Nina Brok Dobrev, and you are looking all fitness stuff, ready to go.

Thank you. Today's a big day. You're gonna be working out. I'm excited. I'm all about being active and staying fit and all that. And so this is like the coolest opportunity to get in, get with a trainer, work out, sweat. I love hot yoga, so sweating is my favorite thing. It's a good thing.

So if you were to give a few summer fitness tips on how to stay in shape, what would you say to them out there?

Honestly, because it's summer, you don't have the excuse of not going outside. You can go to the beach, play volleyball, hang out, go swimming. Try surfing if you haven't done it before. Right. So, that's my suggestion. You need to drink this. Elena, get out of here or you'll regret it. Drink. I said, get out! No.

Well, congratulations on the show. I mean, it became so successful in just a short amount of time. Were you surprised to see that Vampire Diaries was like the number one show on The CW the first season?

Uh, yeah. I mean, the thing is, everyone always hopes and wishes that their show is gonna be successful, and people are gonna watch and love it. And And so, we went into it, gave it our all. And people have been watching and loving, and so we're just we're just gonna keep going. Keep the momentum up and keep making a great show.

We have a really unique situation, too, because you play Katherine and Elena. So, what are we gonna see with next season as far as Katherine? Do we see more of her?

To be honest, they don't they don't tell us that much. I do I do know that we're gonna pick up, obviously, where we left off. So, Katherine's back. She's back in town, and she's gonna wreak havoc, which she does. It I mean, if you're a vampire, you live X amount of years. You get bored after a while once the everyday the the basic things. So, why not kill some people and bite a few necks, you know? That's how that's how you make it happen, you know? So, I think you should stop with the flirty little comments and that I thing that you do. What I thing? Don't make me regret being your friend.

Okay. The relationship with Damon and Elena has, you know, kind of there's been a bond. So, do we see that coming out next season as well, a little bit more of a bond?

Well, the interesting thing is gonna be it's not a love triangle anymore. It's a love square. Okay. And I've got the most real estate because I've got Elena and Katherine, so I got the most square footage of the whole thing. We're gonna see is I have to see where I'm gonna take it, and where the writers are gonna take it, whether they're gonna explore Elena and Damon, or it's gonna be Elena and Stefan, or Katherine and Damon and Stefan. We're just gonna it's gonna it's gonna probably go in a whole bunch of different crazy directions.

What would you say maybe is the one thing that you are most grateful for as far as the success that you've had?

The show has brought so many opportunities. And one of the greatest things is travel, for example, with the the two boys and I, we've been going for press to London and Monte Carlo, and we're in Australia next week. So, I get to see the world and meet the fans and say thank you for supporting us. So, that's really cool.
