Heads up, K-Pop/Rock fans – WOODZ is back and ready to unveil his new musical era!

Having completed his mandatory military service in South Korea, during which his popularity never waned thanks to previous viral hits like “Drowning”, WOODZ has revealed his first post-enlistment release, channeling his powerful, flawless vocals into the introspective anthem “I’ll Never Love Again” as part of a 2-track digital single that also includes “Smashing Concrete”.

As the focus single, though, “I’ll Never Love Again” shows WOODZ at his most vulnerable, evoking that defeated feeling we all know so well after a breakup while still managing to find the beauty in heartbreak. The accompanying music video shows the trials and tribulations of love in its many incarnations, with WOODZ himself displaying a passion that can only mean one thing: the search for love isn’t really over…

Musically, the song puts us in mind of those classic pop power ballads, with soaring instrumentals that give the whole production a cinematic, dramatic feel. Perfect for when you are deep in your feels!

By constrast, the second track, “Smashing Concrete” lives up to its name. WOODZ taps into his inner rock god with this guitar-slamming song that feels almost like a direct response to “I’ll Never Love Again” – stand up, dust yourself off, persevere, get the heck back out there and ROCK!

WOODZ really can do it all – a songwriter, producer, singer, and performer, and this 2-track single displays WOODZ at his very versatile best, proving to everyone that he has not lost a step during his hiatus and is back to slay us all with his talents!
