ARTIST TO WATCH: Dean Lewis

Attention, YH readers, we have found our new favorite Aussie sing-songwriter! Dean Lewis is definitely one to watch. He picked up a guitar at a young age and hasn’t really stopped since and we’re glad he didn’t. The artist who is currently signed with Island Records is a must add to your playlist.

His first single, “Waves”, has become a fan favorite. The song rose to #12 on the Australian ARIA Charts, is certified platinum, and has continued to create buzz across the globe. If the song sounds familiar, you may have heard it in The CW’s "Riverdale". His soft tone and meaningful lyrics will pull at your heartstrings in the best way.

He also just released his first EP, Same Kind of Different, featuring 6 tracks: “Wave”, “Need You Now”, “Let Go”, “Lose My Mind", “Chemicals”, and “Adore”. His second single, “Need You Now”, has a similar sound to “Waves” but tells a new story. We have a feeling more of these tracks are soon to be chart toppers.
