"Andi Mack" Cast: Where Are They Now?!

Written by Skylar Zachian. Published: August 23 2022

“Andi Mack” was quite possibly one of the best shows on Disney Channel. Within 3 seasons (which ran from 2017-2019), the show gave us loveable characters and explored various important topics such as sexuality and many kinds of family structures.

Now that it’s been a few years since the show ended, we can’t help but wonder… what have the “Andi Mack” kids been up to? Are they all still acting? Who’s headed off to college? Who’s releasing music? Let’s find out!

1. Peyton Elizabeth Lee
After playing “Andi Mack"’s title character, Peyton took on another starring role in the Disney+ original series “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D”. The series follows Lahela Kamealoha, a 16-year-old prodigy who has already begun a career in the medical field. In February, Peyton announced that she would be taking on yet another leading role alongside Milo Manheim in the Disney movie Prom Pact; Peyton will play a high school senior who desperately wishes to go to Harvard. In real life, 18-year-old Peyton -- a New York native -- will join Columbia University’s class of 2026!

2. Joshua Rush
Joshua portrayed Cyrus Goodman, one of Andi Mack’s closest friends and the first openly gay character on the Disney Channel. As of now, Joshua is taking a break from acting. The 20-year-old went to NYU’s Gallatin School and subsequently transferred to the University of Utah. He is extremely active in politics on and off campus and is currently working as a communications advisor at Nevada Democratic Victory.

3. Sofia Wylie
After playing Andi’s bestie Buffy Driscoll, Sofia’s acting career began to skyrocket. She appeared in Disney’s Back of the Net (2019) but you probably know her best these days as Gina Porter on Disney+'s “High School Musical The Musical -- The Series”. She also starred as Mia Brooks in the Disney Youtube Original “SHOOK” and voiced Riri Williams in the animated movie Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron. The 18-year-old can next be seen in Netflix's The School for Good and Evil, streaming October 21.

4. Emily Skinner
After portraying Andi’s nemesis-turned-friend Amber Brown, Emily Skinner was in the film Next Level alongside “Dance Moms” star Chloe Lukasiak. You may also recognize Emily from Secrets in the Water and Saving My Daughter which are both thriller movies, with 3 more currently in production.

5. Asher Angel
Asher will always hold a special place in our hearts as Jonah Beck, the boy of Andi’s dreams. In addition to acting, he began releasing songs back when “Andi Mack'' was still airing. He has given us quite a few singles since, with some of his most popular hits being “One Thought Away" feat. Wiz Khalifa, “Chills”, and “All Day”. Asher has become well-known for his entry into the DCEU as Billy Batson in the movie Shazam! (2019) and we are super excited to see him in the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods when it premieres in December 2022. Also, we can look forward to seeing Asher in the 2023 Hulu film Darby Harper Wants You to Know.
