Tony Award-winning Broadway star Patina Miller has welcomed her first child with husband David Mars.
The Madam Secretary actress, who also appeared in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, gave birth to daughter Emerson Harper Mars on Wednesday (09Aug17) in New York.
"They are madly in love with her and so happy she is finally here," a representative tells People magazine.
The baby girl's name was inspired by American transcendentalist leader Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The couple wed in 2014.
