The lovable, raunchy superhero Deadpool returns in one week for his third film, Deadpool & Wolverine. After time-traveling at the end of Deadpool 2 to save his girlfriend Vanessa (and Peter), Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is brought before the Time Variance Authority (TVA) for disrupting the timeline. There, he is sent on a multiversal mission with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) that will change the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Along the way, we can expect to see numerous cameos from previous Marvel films and shows. The most recent trailer revealed the return of Logan's Dafne Keen as Laura, AKA X-23, so here are 5 other cameos we hope to see in Deadpool & Wolverine!

1. Loki

The TVA made its first appearance in one of the most well-received Marvel Disney+ shows, “Loki”. The two seasons of the show also featured the smoky beast Alioth, who ruled over The Void at the end of time. In the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer, we see the TVA and a glimpse of Alioth, giving us hope that Tom Hiddleston will return to the big screen to portray everyone’s favorite God of Mischief, Loki.

2. Mobius

Another fan-favorite character from “Loki” is the TVA agent Mobius. We know that the “Succession” star Matthew Macfadyen is already playing a member of the TVA in Deadpool & Wolverine, so we’re crossing our fingers that Owen Wilson will reprise his role for an appearance alongside him.

3. Ant-Man

The trailer features a grim shot of a giant Ant-Man helmet opening up to reveal a human skull inside. While this variant of the charismatic superhero is long gone, the trailer may be hinting at a deeper connection to Ant-Man, especially considering the link between time travel and the Quantum Realm. Plus, we know that Ryan Reynolds and Paul Rudd are good friends in real-life, and Reynolds loves having friends cameo in his films.

4. Doctor Strange

At the end of one of the trailers, Deadpool and Wolverine are seen jumping through a sparking, orange portal reminiscent of the ones Doctor Strange opens. The last time we saw the magic-wielding superhero was in his sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022. In that film, Doctor Strange traveled through different realities of the Multiverse, a scenario which is similar to the one we can expect in Deadpool & Wolverine. Who opened that portal? Our money is on the Sorcerer Supreme himself.

5. Logan

Fans thought that the final appearance of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine was in the 2017 film Logan until it was announced he would be reprising his role in the third Deadpool film. While we know that the main Wolverine in this sequel is not the same one from Logan, we hope that Deadpool will find himself in that universe at some point. After all, it is not uncommon for actors to play multiple variants of the same character in these multiversal Marvel movies.
