5 Beauty Tips We’ve Learned From Celebrities!
There is so much information when it comes to skincare and makeup, it can all get very confusing and overwhelming. What to buy, what not to buy, will it work for your skin type, and the list goes on and on. In the end, we are often just trying to achieve that effortless, dewy look celebrities so naturally(?) have. Well, spoiler alert -- they often struggle just as much as we do in achieving this look! Thankfully, many celebs have shared their beauty secrets when it comes to how to achieve this flawless look. Here are five of our favorite celebs sharing their tips!
1. Hailey Bieber
If you’re going for a classic “no makeup” makeup look, you have got to listen to Hailey Bieber’s advice! Her skin is literally always glowing! Hailey is a clean beauty ambassador for bareMinerals, so she took to their YouTube channel to show fans her everyday makeup routine. The tip that stood out to us the most is how to prep the skin. Hails likes to use the Skinlongevity Long Life Herb Serum; she shares that she loves this product because it has niacinamide, which is one of her favorite skincare ingredients of all time.
2. Alexa Demie
If you are into more of a glam look, you might want to check out how Alexa Demie does her makeup! The "Euphoria" star took to Vogue’s YouTube channel to show how she does a ‘90s glam look. One tip she shared was that, when doing her concealer, she likes to bring it up onto her eyelids in order to have a base for her eyeshadow. If you’re wondering what concealer she uses, it’s NARS’s Radiant Creamy Concealer, but we’re sure this tip works with whatever you have in your cosmetics bag.
3. Sydney Sweeney
Skincare can be even tougher when you struggle with sensitive skin, so thankfully Sydney Sweeney is here to help ya out! Although her skincare routine isn't quite as intense as her character Cassie's on "Euphoria", Sydney shared on Vogue’s YouTube channel that she has really sensitive, horrible combination skin, and that it’s often a struggle to get makeup to sit on her face. To combat this, she shares that she must mix an exfoliant and a gel cleanser for makeup to sit properly on her face. She uses the Avène Cleanance Cleansing Gel and the Caudalíe Deep Cleansing Exfoliator, both of which are reasonably priced!
4. Charitha Chandran
When you are the Diamond of the Season, you have got to make sure your makeup is going to last. "Bridgerton" star Charitha Chandran shared her foolproof night-out look on Vogue’s YouTube channel, and it is defiantly ball-worthy. Chandran’s best tip is to really spend time figuring out what works for you and your face shape, because everyone is different. For foundation, she uses a different shade on the bottom of her face than she does on the top because her lower half is darker, which she said is very normal when you have a darker complexion.
5. Storm Reid
If you want the glowy skin look, you have got to follow what Storm Reid does. Storm shared with Vogue that she is all into trying new beauty trends from TikTok, but that has actually gotten her into trouble because she was trying so many new things that her skin didn’t know what to get used to. Therefore, her advice is to stay consistent -- pick a routine and stick with it. One product she uses every day is Supergoop! Glowscreen Sunscreen; not only is it SPF 40, but it leaves you with the most gorgeous glow.
