Zendaya is booked and busy for 2026. She’s set to star in four major films and is expected to reprise her role as Rue Bennett on Season three of HBO's "Euphoria". The 29-year-old has a treat for film watchers of all genres in 2026, and here are five of her projects that we can’t wait to see!
1. The Drama (In Theatres April 3)
Zendaya had heads turning when it was announced that she will be starring alongside Robert Pattinson in the A24 film The Drama. Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the trailer depicts a romantic and harmonious movie where Zendaya’s and Pattinson’s characters are madly in love. However, most of the plot remains a mystery, and if we know anything about A24 films, it is to expect the unexpected! We can’t wait to see what Zendaya’s major acting talents bring to this film!
2. Spider-Man: Brand New Day (In Theatres July 31)
Buckle up, Marvel fans, because Zendaya has the ultimate treat for you in 2026! She’s reprising her role as the beloved MJ in Spider-Man: Brand New Day! This movie is the fourth film in the MCU's Spider-Man film series and Tom Holland (who also happens to be Zendaya’s fiancé in real life) is also set to reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. This installment follows the events that occurred in No Way Home. Therefore, viewers can expect to see Peter Parker rebuilding his life after the world forgot who he was and reconnecting with his true love, MJ. We’re so excited to see these love birds bring their real-life romance to the big screen again!
3. The Odyssey (In Theatres July 17)
Looks like Holland and Zendaya can’t get enough of each other and work together every chance they get. Zendaya, along with Holland, are set to star in Christopher Nolan's highly-anticipated action-fantasy film The Odyssey. Holland will play Telemachus, the son of Odysseus (who is played by Matt Damon), who is the legendary Greek king of Ithaca, while Zendaya is set to play Athena, the goddess of wisdom, war, and handicraft. This film is an adaptation of Homer’s Ancient Greek epic The Odyssey, one of the oldest surviving works of literature and still studied in English classes across the world to this day. Just like the original epic, this film will follow themes centered on identity, love, and the tension between divine will and human agency. Zendaya will certainly leave a positive impact as the goddess of wisdom!
4. Dune: Part Three (In Theatres December 18)
Zendaya is clearly busy all year round. Dune: Part Three, the epic soap opera and sequel to Dune: Part Two, is based on Frank Herbert’s second novel, Dune Messiah, and explores themes of power’s corruption, political intrigue, and fate vs. free will. Zendaya will reprise her role as Chani, a young and rebellious warrior. If there’s one thing Zendaya has, it’s major acting range!
5. "Euphoria" Season 3 (HBO, April)
Finally, Zendaya is set to reprise her role as the troubled Rue Bennett in Season 3 of HBO's hit series "Euphoria". This role is one of her most anticipated ones because fans have waited since 2022 for "Euphoria" to come back. Season 3 is expected to take place 5 years after the main characters graduated high school. Rue ended Season 2 on a rough note. Last time viewers saw Rue, she owed a lot of money to a dangerous drug dealer, Laurie, who threatened to harm her if she didn't pay. We hope to see Rue move toward a better path in this new season!
