Vanessa Hudgens, Olivia Wilde, Seth Green and Justin Long were among the famous faces who took to the stage in New York on Monday night (12Nov12) to star in The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway.

Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera and Jason Biggs also took part in the annual charity theatre project, which challenges a group of actors, writers and directors to come up with a script and prepare it for the stage in just 24 hours.

Hudgens appeared in a short play about the "farce of backstage politics", while Wilde spiced the event up by offering kisses to guests who donated $10,000 to the evening's fundraising tally.

Proceeds from the shows, which were held at Manhattan's American Airlines Theatre, will benefit the Urban Arts Partnership, an organisation which supports under-privileged students in New York City and Los Angeles public schools.
