It's true what they say, there is no place like New York City. If you're looking for a city with the same level of excitement, you won't find it anywhere else. NYC is one of the world's liveliest cities. From the diverse population of people to the fantastic food, shopping boutiques, Broadway shows, and museums, it's bound to stay on the list of every tourist's must-visit places. With that being said, let's look at the top 5 must-visit summer attractions in NYC!

1. Gitano Island (125 Carder Rd)

This modern Tulum-inspired restaurant and beach club is a perfect tourist attraction, offering over 27,000 square feet of space alongside the ferry terminal. Gitano is located on Governors Island, perched above the ocean, providing breathtaking views of the New York City skyline. With more than 500 palm trees and other tropical plants packed with 350 tons of sand, it screams Summer fun! The décor consists of a dining pergola with dual eating areas, an open-fire kitchen, and a dining pergola in black with a marble bar consisting of Mezcal cocktails. Signature dishes, like guacamole, watermelon salad, crab tostada, and branzino wrapped in banana leaf, will be served at the restaurant. In addition, the menu will feature some new items, such as a Mexican lobster roll and a new taco and frozen margarita bar. There is also a VIP area, two outdoor dining patios, and a state-of-the-art DJ tent, all of which surround a serene water feature.
