Sofia Carson Partners With Foundation To Honor Cameron Boyce

Cameron Boyce’s birthday was on May 28, and in honor of the special day and his legacy, his close friend Sofia Carson shared her new collaboration with The Cameron Boyce Foundation. The nonprofit organization, which was established in 2019, aims to reduce gun violence and cure epilepsy.

On her Instagram, Carson wrote, “Dear Cam, you changed my world. Forever. Today, on your birthday, the whole entire world celebrates you. The whole entire world smiles for you. In your honor, I am so grateful to share the #SofiaxTCBF collaboration. When I think of Cam, I think of him in his favorite jean jacket. It was quite simply, him. And so, our collection was born with a jean jacket that on your heart, says ‘we can change the world’, and on your back, a piece of art that was drawn by our Cam. We sang those words together. Cam drew this tree.”

The actress and singer continued by saying, “To come together with TCBF and his beautiful family, who has become my own, to bring this to life is one of my greatest honors. I am so grateful to share it with the world. My heart is yours forever, Libby, Vic & Maya. In Cam’s honor. Let’s change the world, together.”

The collection includes two different denim jackets, T-shirts, pullover hoodies, a long sleeve shirt, a hat, and a beanie. On the site, it gives more information about the foundation as well as a powerful statement: “Cameron believed that young people needed to understand their power and that they can actually make a change.” Shipping starts on July 6 and items are available to purchase until June 11.

The official Instagram for The Cameron Boyce Foundation shared the news and wrote, “The proceeds will help us cure epilepsy and end gun violence! Sofia and Cam had an incredibly special relationship and we are so grateful to her for supporting us with this campaign. Together, ‘We Can Change The World!’”
