Sofia Carson & More Reveal Fave Moments About Disney’s Fan Fest

What is your favorite thing about Disney's fan fest?

My favorite thing about Disney's Fanfest is that it's all about the people that matter the most, which is the fans. And celebrating them and giving them special experiences. And for us as a cast it's really cool today because it kind of kicks off our whole promo for Descendants 3. We hadn't really been together since since we shot so it feels kind of surreal to kind of be living this again and even more hyped and more excited and it's really special.

So I wanna know, is this your first Fanfest?

Yeah I've never been here before. Yeah. Disrespectful. I know, well I've been away from you know for from the Disney family for a long time and it's really great to come back to such a special project that's so close to my heart. So yeah, it's exciting. I love Disneyland. I'm a big fan. I talk about it too much. So I love being here and obviously adding, being here with your cast and other people that you love off the channel and meeting supporters. It's just it's kind of all those positive things into one that makes this so special.

Fanfest is really like nothing else because you get to communicate with your fans in a way you can't over social media. You know, you get to sit down and talk to them and hug them and really hear their stories, which is something that's really unique and really exciting.

Peyton will say it in like a much more eloquent way than I will, but it's really cool to see everyone and like see in a very real sense like how people are feeling about the show. Like you can see it on social media and people talk about it. Uh but like seeing them in person, like there are real people out there who like watch our show and that's kind of crazy to me. Really? I know.

Josh will say it in a more eloquent way, but Fanfest is like so fun and awesome. It's been amazing so far. We've gotten to meet a ton of amazing people. I mean, some of I mean it brings the Disney community together too because we get to hang out with all the other people from the other shows.

I wanna know how long did it take you guys to get ready today?

Okay, well, I have thought about what I'm gonna wear for this for like weeks. Like all of my friends, I like the group chat is like all just what is Ana gonna wear to Fanfest? I was like what am I gonna wear shirt. Where this? This. All the options, all the like no like this I think I'm like I'm like mini vibes you know, twin I see, I see yeah.

Well, I had, you know, wanted to wear like this kind of like denim set for a while. And so I thought, you know, Fanfest. Let me wear it. And then also these braids, I also

There's such a vibe.

This I was like, I've always wanted to wear braids like this cuz when I was like in fifth grade, I used to wear braids like this. So I'm bringing it back.

Now you bring it in, you bring it in back.

We did this whole drawing drawing thing with um Big City Greens then we did meet and greets. Meet and greets was probably the best just because just meeting the fans. That's what I guess the whole Fanfest is about. Fans are amazing. So amazing. We have met so many fans today. It's so much fun. We had someone, we had two kids that had our our logo on their shirt. I was like what? I've never seen that before. That's crazy. Making their own merch. That's amazing. It's been so much fun and I've loved getting to know all the fans. It's been so great.

I think my favorite moment is when people come up to you just like when you're walking somewhere and it's just like a natural moment like when you're raw meeting someone and they know you and you know them and it's just yeah, super special. I love that.

Doing what we do, you know, being creative types. You know, we wouldn't be able to do what we do if people weren't interested in what we're doing.

Absolutely. No, so true. So it's it's nice to pay back to those people.

Now, I know there's a little random, but I'm curious to know what type of food do you crave 24/7?

Chicken nuggets.

Wait what'd you say?

Chicken nuggets.

Pizza.

Chicken strips.

It's probably plain pasta with olive oil or pickles.

Pasta. Italian food. It's like my weakness.

Pasta with olive oil, mozzarella. And then like ice cream. I used to make like cakes for family events and like

Cakes. Like I would design it fondant, icing, like I love that.

Any kind of chip or fry.

Easy, it's noodles. I like ramen, I like Pad Thai, I like all kinds of noodles.

Anything with steak. You know, hamburgers, regular steak. Uh I just like meat.

Okay. Same.

Regular steak.

Regular steak. Rare steak. Medium rare.

I'm a sucker for anything coffee related.

Pasta. Pasta, pasta and pasta.

Um I'm pretty boring. I just like chicken, rice and french fries. So any one of those, any one of those.

Pineapple pizza. I love

I've been eating pineapple on my pizza since I was like three years old.

Artichokes. Artichokes are delicious.

24 hours. Probably like sushi. I love sushi.

At Disneyland for sure corn dog.

You know, this is this is your world right now. So I'll I'll let you I'll let you have that.

First of all, hold on. Hold on. Let me go. That is not food. That is a dessert. I'm insulted. That's food. You heard what I said. I will make you some great avocado toast with an egg over easy on top. And sometimes I'll slip some melted cheese on there just to give it a little extra like

Uh maybe some pasta.

Okay, pasta with with like tomato sauce and like grated cheese.

Watermelon. Watermelon. I can you know like you know like watermelons like the size of your head. And Oh like the little like personal. I can eat one of those a day for the rest of my life.

Pizza. 24/7. You're owning it.

That lastly, lastly, lastly if you had the world's attention for 30 seconds what would you say?

I need pizza. No, I'm just kidding. I would say choose love, choose kindness, choose acceptance, don't judge you know, the color of the skin, who we love, whatever. Just choose love and the world will be a better place. Calm down.

My big thing is definitely helping save the animals.

I would tell people to take things a little bit lighter and and smile more and not be so serious cuz I feel like we live in such a serious time that I just want people to have fun.

Follow your dreams and do what your heart says no matter what and life is short just enjoy it while you're on this planet.

I'd probably tell the world that uh to stop treating our environment horribly and to just, you know, help our environment instead of trying to hurt it and everything.
