All The Big Winners From The 2026 Golden Globes!

Awards Season is in full swing and the race to the Oscars is officially on thanks to last night's Golden Globes Awards! Stars from both film and television came together to celebrate the best projects of the past year, and some of them even won some stuff! Let's break it all down:
TELEVISION
Netflix's groundbreaking limited series "Adolescence" capped off their triumphant Awards Season run by, once again, nearly sweeping the Limited Series categories as they did at the Emmys back in September -- Best Limited Series, Lead Actor (Stephen Graham), Supporting Actor (Owen Cooper), and Supporting Actress (Erin Doherty) -- giving them the most wins in the TV categories as a whole.
"The Pitt" and "The Studio" tied for 2 awards each, both in the Actor and Series categories. "The Pitt" took home Best Drama Series and Best Actor in a Drama Series for Noah Wyle while "The Studio" nabbed Best Comedy Series and Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Seth Rogen, pretty much a repeat of their performances at the Emmys last year.
After years of being snubbed by the HFPA for her work in "Better Call Saul", Rhea Seehorn finally got her flowers as Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role in "Pluribus", which could very well be a harbinger for this year's Emmys later in the year.
Elsewhere, Jean Smart continued her run as the queen of television (something her "Hacks" character would be insanely envious of) with her second win a row (and 3rd total) for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the HBO comedy series, while Michelle Williams also earned her third career Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series for "Dying For Sex".
FILM
One Battle After Another tied "Adolescence" as the most awarded project of the night, taking home Best Comedy Film, Best Screenplay and Director for Paul Thomas Anderson, and Best Supporting Actress for Teyana Taylor, putting it firmly in frontrunner territory going into the Oscars but it by no means was the dominant film of the night, with the wealth being spread around to other projects that could make for an interesting Oscars race!
Jesse Buckley was the not-so surprising winner for Best Actress in a Drama for Hamnet, but what was a surprise was the movie itself taking home Best Drama, which could put it direct contention against OBAA come Oscar night. But Jesse has some stiff competition from her counterpart in the Comedy category, Rose Byrne, who has been doing very well in other smaller awards ceremonies thanks to her role in the indie film If I Had Legs I'd Kick You -- expect these 2 to be battling out for the Academy Award in a couple months!
Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet's door-to-door campaign to win every award known to mankind seems to be working, as the HFPA offered him up another Best Actor award for his role in Marty Supreme, which seems to make him the (unexpected?) favorite for the Oscar. However, gaining some not insignificant momentum is Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, who was awarded Best Actor in a Drama Series for The Secret Agent, which also happened to win Best Non-English Language Film. So, it would seem that, if anyone were to beat Timmy on Oscar night, it would be Wagner -- if either of them are indeed nominated.
Perhaps the most "sentimental" (pun intended) win of the evening went to Stellan Skarsgard for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Sentimental Value. With Jacob Elordi's performance in Frankenstein coming off a much-deserved win at the Critics Choice Awards, he appeared to be the favorite going into the Globes, but Stellan just made things interesting! Sadly, though, Frankenstein was shut out completely despite 5 nominations.
Unfortunately, Sinners did not do the numbers we were hoping for either, winning only 2 awards -- only one of which was even televised! After Ludwig Göransson won Best Original Score off-camera, the cast and crew at least got to take the stage to celebrate what is beginning to look more and more like a Consolation Prize, the Cinematic Box Office Achievement Award. Here's hoping Academy voters will give the film more of its due...
As expected, KPop Demon Hunters reigned supreme in the Animated Feature and Original Song categories, with "Golden" being tops and giving singer-songwriter EJAE some impressive hardware.
In other uncategorizable news, "Good Hang with Amy Poehler" won the first ever Best Podcast award, while Ricky Gervais won for Best Standup Comedy Special.
Now, normally this is where I would add a link for you to see all the winners, but I just told you them all! You're welcome!
Bring on the Oscars!!!
