Coachella 2017 Lineup Includes Beyoncé, Radiohead, and... Hans Zimmer!?

It’s a new year and no time to waste getting ready for arguably the biggest music fest in the country!

The lineup for this year’s Coachella Music & Arts Festival just dropped this morning, and those of you regulars and newbies alike are in for a treat! The big headliners will be Kendrick Lamar, Radiohead, and the Queen ha’self Beyoncé, and they will be joined by a wonderfully diverse group of artists (many of whom have been featured on YH and/or in our series “Backstage Diaries”) sure to please any and every musical palette, including The xx, Phantogram, DJ Khaled, Broods, Tove Lo, Martin Garrix, Gucci Mane, Bishop Briggs, Jack Garratt, Lorde, legendary British New Wave band New Order, and many more! There’s the assumption that the smaller your name is on the poster, the less “prestigious” the artist is, but that is just nonsense – they had to make some names smaller just to CONTAIN ALL THE AWESOME in one poster!

One name on this list in particular that jumped out at me was Hans Zimmer – yes, you read that right, the Oscar-winning film composer will be performing at Coachella this year. What the heck does that entail exactly? Well, we’re not quite sure yet, but I assume it’ll be an offshoot of his Hans Zimmer Revealed tour, which features the composer jamming out on the piano with a full orchestra behind him. Sounds pretty epic to me!

Coachella happens April 14-16 and 21-23; tickets go on sale tomorrow (January 4) starting at 11am!

Who are YOU most excited to see?
