"Buzzfeed Unsolved" Duo Is Back For More Spooky Fun With "Ghost Files" Series!

If you were a fan of Buzzfeed’s former YouTube series "Buzzfeed Unsolved" like us, then you’re in for a spooky treat! The hilarious and iconic hosts of the former "Unsolved" show, Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej, are back and better than ever in their new series "Ghost Files" on Watcher Entertainment!

While the former show focused on the team’s attempt to solve both supernatural and true crime mysteries, "Ghost Files" focuses solely on Ryan and Shane’s investigations into the creepiest and supposedly most haunted locations across the country. Fans of the series are even able to send in their own anecdotes and footage from the investigation sites as evidence for Ryan and Shane to dissect on air and use in their own investigation!

In the new series, the ghost-hunting pros are investigating completely new haunted sites, as well as returning to some of the spookiest places they’ve visited in the past during their time on "Unsolved". However, this time, it’s clear they’ve made some major upgrades regarding their ghost hunting equipment, with new technology such as REM-Pods (devices that emit their own electromagnetic field, alerting when any ghost or ghoul crosses it), SLS Cameras (which use infrared light to capture humanlike forms and objects), and, of course, newer and improved versions of their handy spirit boxes, used to communicate with any spirit they may encounter.

As fans know, part of what makes their investigations so engaging and entertaining is the ever-contrasting dynamic between Ryan and Shane! Ryan, whose supporters proudly call themselves “Boogaras”, is the full-on believer of the two, determined to find evidence hard enough to sway Shane, the skeptic. The differing beliefs of the pair often lead to some pretty hilarious ghost-hunting moments; for instance, when Ryan’s terrified, Shane’s usually taunting the ghosts, making comedic remarks like this clip from "Unsolved" below (real ones will remember):

The first season of "Ghost Files" is expected to have at least 6 episodes of investigations released every Friday, with bonus debrief episodes following a few days after. Four equally terrifying and hysterical episodes are already out right now, so make sure to check them out!

Happy ghost-hunting, ghouligans!
