Ariana Grande is contemplating turning her back on acting once her gig on Icarly/Victorious spin-off Sam & Cat ends.
The Way singer admits she never wanted to be an actress but created the role of oddball Cat Valentine for the kids' TV shows to help her land a record deal.
And now she has realized her chart dreams, she's keen to dedicate herself to singing.
She tells Complex magazine, "I never liked acting. I auditioned for TV just to get a platform to get a record deal and then I fell in love with acting because it was fun.
"After I'm done playing Cat Valentine I don't see myself doing much acting, but I would do a scary movie or a musical."
