Welcome to younghollywood. com. Hey, Young Hollywood, I'm Larissa Wohl and tonight we are at the Girls of Victorious photo shoot. So come with me and we're going to go meet the girls. You're never going to fit or be the main attraction. I don't fit in here with all this. Your school is not normal. Really? You're not normal either. Seeing what you can do on stage is special. You belong at this school. Tell me a little bit about your character. My character's name is Tori Vega and she is kind of like your everyday girl. I mean, she's super like chill and laid back and loves her friends and family. She's very loyal and honest and sweet and kind.

How do you get into your character when you get to set and have to get to work? She's very similar to me in a lot of ways. She has a lot of cookier qualities, though, like she can get kind of like neurotic and frantic. Now, when it comes to the clothes, all the outfits are awesome. How is it being like four girls on a set working together, getting to be like princesses and dressed up and everything? It's amazing and it's really cool because like I didn't have to go shopping for this for myself, you know what I mean? Like I just get the easy part of looking at all the cute clothes and being like I like that and I like that and I like those shoes. So that's like the best part ever.

Dancing and singing. I know that's a big part of the show. So, is that stuff that you did previously as well? Yeah, I mean, I've always, like ever since I was little, loved acting and singing and dancing. They're all been like three of my passions. So, I feel like really lucky that I get to go to work every day and I get to do, you know, all three and and yeah. And the songs I get to sing are so much fun and like the performances are awesome and we all work really hard, so I'm excited for everyone to see them. Now, you're the sister, correct? I am the sister. My character being the opposite of Tori Vega, she's a little bit more loud and um a little more of a diva.

So, she probably just thinks she's as good as her sister, but ultimately is probably not as good. Now, on top of it, you're now working with three other girls. So, do you feel like you're one big happy family? We are one big happy family and I've taken the role of Big Sis to the cast um within myself and I'm very proud. So, I I'm here for them and I enjoy being the Big Sis to everyone. You have something to do with jewelry. I actually was um doing a little bit more of my own jewelry um back in the day and when I was working on Nancy Drew, I worked with the wardrobe and costume department to um incorporate my jewelry into all the characters. I would love to dabble back into my jewelry.

I think it'll really um compliment our characters because I have more of like a rocker style when it comes to jewelry. I like doing things with guitar picks and chains and rhinestones and just kind of making them a little more funky. I would love to wear my stuff on the show. So, we'll see. You play the mean girl. Is that correct? I do. And Jade is kind of she's not as conventional as a mean girl. She's a little bit more off the wall. She's a little weirder and as her character's developing, you know, she's getting into these like weirder personality traits and I'm just having so much fun with it.

It's it's just, you know, she's a very interesting character to play and I'm really enjoying it. She's a little bit goth, a little bit dark, it's a lot of fun. Need some help? Yes. Interesting. So, did you pull anything from your background when you had to get into these goth or eccentric characters or are you totally the opposite? Not really. You know, it's it's it's fun, you know, because I always was intrigued by those characters when I was watching movies or whatever and I'm, you know, I'm trying to put a little bit of that into Jade and stuff. And so she's not totally the mean girl because I never want to go straight with like one kind of character type.

So, it's fun to pull from different movies and stuff like that, different characters and put them all into her. I'm having a lot of fun with playing her. You did the photo shoot today. And I'm watching all the photos of the four of you girls. Brunette, brunette, brunette, pink. Which I love. So, is this for the character or was this before? Um this is for the character. This was what Dan Snyder envisioned for my character and once you see the show, it totally makes sense. I don't think that Cat would have any other hair color. Being here today, I've heard you singing a lot and you have a great voice. Tell me a little bit about your music career. Music means a lot to me.

I originally came from Broadway. I was in 13 the musical written by Jason Robert Brown. And um that was just an experience of a lifetime. It was just it was so incredible.
