Adam Lambert has dismissed allegations he grappled with a photographer during a scuffle in Florida on Thursday (16Sep10) - calling the incident "harmless".
The American Idol star became angry with a paparazzo during an outing to a Miami beach with friends, and was reported to have wrestled the man to the ground.
Lambert fuelled rumours of a physical altercation by mentioning the incident in a post on his Twitter.com page, telling fans, "I lost my temper for a sec (second) but wow it felt great..."
But the singer has returned to the microblogging site to clear up rumours the dispute became physical.
He writes, "Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground... It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime - that's all I'm guilty of."
