Adam Driver to star in Broadway revival of Burn This

Star Wars villain Adam Driver has replaced Jake Gyllenhaal in the Broadway revival of Burn This.

Gyllenhaal was previously announced as the lead, but it has since been revealed the Star Wars: The Force Awakens star will take on the part of Pale in Lanford Wilson's stageshow.

The new production will be directed by Michael Mayer and will hit the stage in 2019. Additional casting and a theater will be announced in the near future.

Burn This originally ran on Broadway in 1987 with John Malkovich as Pale and Joan Allen as his dancer lover, Anna. In 2002, Edward Norton and Catherine Keener took on the roles.
