While a wide assortment of guest stars and big-name cameos are featured in Season 2 of FX's "The Bear", it’s no surprise that this series is not the first time many of these actors have worked on the same projects – so let’s take a look at how and when the bodies of work of cast members from "The Bear" overlapped with each other!

1. Ebon Moss Bachrach and Gillian Jacobs: "Girls"

On "The Bear", Ebon Moss Bachrach portrays Carmy’s close family friend and co-worker Richie, while Gilliam Jacobs plays Richie’s ex-wife. But prior to taking on those roles, the 2 actors were featured on HBO’s "Girls" in main and guest spots, respectively.

2. Abby Elliot, Alex Moffat, John Mulaney, and Bob Odenkirk: "Saturday Night Live"

These 4 actors play members of Carmy’s family on "The Bear", the majority of whom are introduced in Season 2. But in real life, they’re all alumni of "Saturday Night Live" as both writers and performers.

3. Ayo Edibiri and Will Poulter: "Black Mirror"

Upon its release in June, Ayo Edibiri, a mainstay on "The Bear", made her "Black Mirror" debut in the first episode of Season 6. However, she isn’t the only actor from the show to make that crossover, as Will Poulter, a Season 2 guest star, starred in "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch" in 2018.

4. Molly Gordon and Ayo Edibiri: Theater Camp

Though Molly Gordon took on a smaller role in Season 2 of "The Bear" as Carmy’s love interest, her co-directorial debut, Theater Camp, will feature not only herself but her co-star from "The Bear", Ayo Edibiri, as well.

5. Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss Bachrach: Sharp Stick

In "The Bear", Jon Bernthal is shown in flashbacks as Carmy’s deceased older brother, but in Lena Dunham’s 2022 film, Sharp Stick, Bernthal plays a married man who has an affair with the family babysitter and stars alongside Ebon Moss Bachrach, a frequent collaborator with Dunham.
