Zac Efron is hoping to sail the world one day after learning how to helm a boat for his latest movie Charlie St. Cloud.
The actor is a keen surfboarder and reveals he'd love to explore some of the ocean's best waves when he is older.
And Zac Efron is confident he could sail a boat by himself after learning the skill during filming for his latest movie.
He tells Britain's Radio 1, "I had never sailed before. I'd only been on a boat a few times but I was still pretty young - I thought it was cooler below deck. I wasn't really into the sailing part so learning was a lot... It's a hard sport, you can't fake it like you can with certain things in movies. You either know how to sail and you look like you know how to do it because you're actually doing it or you capsize and the camera guy falls in the water.
"Yeah I would like to (carry on sailing). I think it would be a great way to see the world some day - get a big boat. I'd love to just sail south and see some exotic places. I know there's a lot of cool surf places in the world you can only get to by boat. Some day I'll go out there and check it out. Sail on up there and just jump off deck with my board."
