Sofia Wylie's First Memory on Andi Mack Set

Hey, guys! It's Sofia Wylie. Today, I'm hanging out with Young Hollywood, and I'm going to play the game of first.

Okay, let's get started. First one is: first username you ever created.

I, I think it was Instagram and I was ten years old, or this is the first one I can remember. And I was like, ooh, this can be really practical, really easy to remember. I did, Sophia_dance10, because I was ten years old. I love to dance, and my name was Sophia. And I was like, oh, this is the best username ever. Let's go to the second one. First impression of Young Hollywood. I saw all of their videos on YouTube, and I was just bingeing. I would, I would see one and I'd be like, ooh, ooh, I like that person. Oh, let's see that. So, yeah, I definitely loved it, and I love the couch and the pillows, and so actually coming here, it's even more comfortable than I thought. This is amazing.

Okay. First time you were recognized in public.

Oh, I, uh, I think the first time I was recognized was at a dance convention right after we shot the first season of Andi Mack. And these little girls came up to me and they were like, you're Buffy, right? And I was like, I, I, I think so. Yeah. And I didn't even know what to say. I was so, like, I was more nervous than they were. I was so happy and excited and, oh, it was one of the best days and I just thought it was the coolest thing ever. And I still do. It's so amazing whenever anyone recognizes the show or my character.

First time you realized you wanted to go into acting.

Well, I've always wanted to act ever since I was little. I've always been the drama queen. I've been in my mirror being like, like thinking I was in a music video or something. But I think the first time I thought like, maybe I could actually start acting was, I was doing a show, and I was one of the dancers in the background. And I was watching the lead actress, and I was like, I, I love doing this. I love dancing, but I don't want to just be dancer number five. I wanted to be up there, like, giving my all, actually speaking, showing some emotion. And I told my dad that, and it just went from there, and I'm here now. So, this is amazing, but I love it.

First embarrassing audition story.

Okay, so I went into this audition, and since I'm originally from Arizona, we would drive six hours just to go to auditions. And so, there was this one audition, and we drove six hours. And I got in there and they were like, okay, slate your name. And I was like, what is that? And they were like, it means you like, say your name and your age. I was like, okay. So I said that, and they were like, okay, now act like you're about to get hit by a bus. And I was, this was like my first time acting, and I was so scared that I just went And they all continued to stare at me like they were waiting for me to do it. But I had done it. And, um, it was the worst five seconds of my life, I think, just staring at them and them realizing, oh, that was it. Yeah, I just left that room and my dad was like, how'd it go? And I was like, good. It was great. And of course, I never got the job.

Okay. First memory on set.

I think it was us going into the table read, the first table read we had. And we all were so excited. It was practically the first big thing all of us had done, so our nerves were crazy high. And we had a little run through before we actually did the table read in front of all of the Disney executives and producers. I was about to pee my pants, honestly. I was like, I can't believe I'm here. Oh my God. I couldn't even fathom the fact that I was in a different state, shooting a Disney Channel show that I've always wanted to do. I just remember that feeling of feeling so proud that we were all able to be there together.

Okay. My first celebrity crush.

Zac Efron. I mean, my sister and I, we, we were like crazy, honestly. We're stalkers. We watched High School Musical probably like a dozen times. And we would name our stuffed animals after him. Little Zaky, Efron. And, ooh, we were crazy. And I think he would run away if he saw how addicted we were, um, to High School Musical and him. But, um, yeah, I definitely, I love you, Zack.
