Even if you haven’t seen Michael Shanks’s latest body horror flick, Together, you have most likely seen its magnetic press tour, headed by stars Alison Brie and Dave Franco. Married in real life, they star as a fictional couple in this critically-acclaimed trip about partners who become physically attracted to one another, but by no means in the conventional way. The chemistry between Franco and Brie is undeniable, both within the press tour and on-screen, giving even more life to the film and brilliant marketing.

But this isn’t the first pair of lovers to share the screen to great success -- here are 5 more who graced the same productions!

1. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt: A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II

This Hollywood power couple is famously known for their separately iconic roles -- Krasinski in “The Office” and Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow and Sicario. Of course, that was before this Krasinski-written and directed horror thriller blew audiences away in 2018. Married in 2010, the pairing took the screen together for the first time in A Quiet Place and then again in A Quiet Place Part II. Like most of the couples listed here, their acting styles and performances were perfect matches, giving an extra boost to the eerie edge-of-your-seat experience in both films. 2. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Possibly the most famous example of a couple starring in the same film, “Brangelina” took audiences by storm with the release of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The set of the thriller is indeed where the two met, leading to the infamous media circus surrounding the couple. The two went on to date from 2004 to 2013, married in 2014, and provided another media circus with their divorce in 2016. (Available on VOD/Digital)

3. Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst: “Fargo”, The Power of the Dog, and Civil War

Another couple who met on set, Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst began seeing each other while playing Peggy and Ed Blumquist on the second season of FX's “Fargo” in 2016. After providing one of the best seasons of television in the 21st century, Plemons and Durst made it official in 2022 and have two sons. Similarly, they starred together in the Oscar-winning The Power of the Dog in 2021 and then again (briefly) in 2024's Civil War. (Stream "Fargo" on Hulu; The Power of the Dog on Netflix; Civil War on HBO Max)

4. Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor: Zoolander, Dodgeball, Tropic Thunder, and “Arrested Development"

Switching gears to the world of comedy, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor met on the set of “Heat Vision”, a TV pilot that never aired. However, they married in 2000 and hit the screen together twice in the early-2000s in both Zoolander and Dodgeball. Additionally, both actors made separate appearances as side characters in the cult classic “Arrested Development”, as Tony Wonder and Sally Sitwell, respectively. Stiller also starred in Tropic Thunder, which Taylor made a minor appearance in. They have two kids, Ella and Quinlin, and are still married despite a separation in the late 2010s. (Stream Zoolander on Paramount+; Dodgeball on Hulu; Tropic Thunder on Paramount+; "Arrested Development” on Netflix)

5. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman: Eyes Wide Shut

Similar to Pitt and Jollie, this superpower Hollywood couple are no longer together but famously co-starred in Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut while married. Initially, they met on the set of Days of Thunder in 1990 and went on to star in Far and Away as well, before providing a classic in Eyes Wide Shut. Only two years prior to their divorce, the Kubrick film dives into intimacy and relationship power dynamics, themes that are both effectively enhanced by the reality of the couple's relationship, as well as their undeniable, lustful chemistry.
