Single Jennifer Lopez celebrates birthday with friends and family

But she took time out from her busy schedule to enjoy a meal with friends and family the night before she turned 42 on Sunday (24Jul11).

Jennifer Lopez dined at the Scarpetta restaurant at the city's Fontainebleau Hotel and enjoyed Italian food with her mum, sister and stylist, as well as 13 other pals.

A source tells People.com, "Jennifer looked radiant in a purple and silver evening dress. And when they brought out her birthday cake after the meal, she began to sing. She was very happy. The whole group had a blast, staying for hours. They closed down the restaurant."
