Shawn Mendes Talks "I Know What You Did Last Summer" at the AMAs
Pop star Shawn Mendes has landed a major role in a new movie musical.
The teenage Stitches singer will make his big-screen acting debut in director Ivan Reitman's first musical Summer of Love.
The road trip film is believed to be all about the hippies who converged on San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood in the late 1960s to oppose the Vietnam War.
Mendes previously voiced a character in 2013 animated movie Underdogs.
