Young Hollywood

What's up, Young Hollywood? Today, we're at iHeartRadio's Wango Tango, where we're standing on the cutest pink carpet, and we're going to be talking to some of your favorite musicians walking by, so stay tuned and check it out.

Tori Spelling

Young Hollywood, look who we're with. We're with the two pups for the night. This is Tinkerbell the dog, and this is her little sister Belle the dog. Look at you guys.

Young Hollywood

We thank you. We've had you in the Young Hollywood studio before.

Tori Spelling

Yes, yes, it was it's gorgeous there. You need to come.

Young Hollywood

Yes, you have to come to the Young Hollywood studio. I've seen pictures of you in there.

Tori Spelling

Yeah, the lighting's really good. That's what I remember. The lighting.

Young Hollywood

Were you guys together then?

Jonathan Bennett

No, uh, we were. Yeah, we were. I've been in a couple times, but yes.

Tori Spelling

And maybe like, damn, you look good, get home now. Immediately, get home.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Okay. Who said, "I love you," first?

Jonathan Bennett

He did. He said, "I love you," first, and he did it like from the movie, Love Actually, where they write the signs and hold them up at the door. I opened the door, he rang the doorbell, I opened the door and there was a paper sitting there with a whole bunch of lines with periods, and I was like, "What does that mean?"

Tori Spelling

Well, because we were afraid to say, "I love you," at first, so we would do this, meaning like a line with a period, and you can put in there whatever it is you think that we would be saying, which was, "I love you." Because it was weird to be like, "I'm in love with you this fast."

Jonathan Bennett

Yeah, like I I said, I think I said it to him the second we met. Um, so I mean, I move fast, you know.

Tori Spelling

And I and I ripped down the paper that he was holding, he said, "Rip it down," because there was a picture underneath it, and underneath the paper was, "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you," written out. So many times. It was very cute. I'm crying.

Jonathan Bennett

And then, I didn't say, "I love you," back. I fell to the ground and started crying in shock and didn't say anything. And I'm like this was the sign, that's like made, it's really cute, and I'm just like, oh, oh, why why is are we going to and I was like, back to like five minutes, like, "You know you're supposed to say it back." And I was like, right, right, right, of course, I love you too, I love you too. Yes. I was in such shock that I didn't respond. It was a good shock. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

You're introducing Charlie Puth tonight?

Jonathan Bennett

Yes.

Young Hollywood

Besides Charlie, who what's like your summer anthem right now? What song do you have on repeat?

Jonathan Bennett

Oh man, I mean, I am so excited to meet Latto. I'm like, if she's anywhere around here, I'm going to go feral. Um, so yeah, I would say Latto's like my summer playlist so far.

Tori Spelling

I I'm on a big Pink Floyd kick right now. So I'm again back, people are laughing as I say that, but it's true. I'm I'm I'm about halfway through, "Shine On Your Crazy Diamond," right now.

Young Hollywood

Camilla what?

Jonathan Bennett

Camila Cabello. Big Camilla Cabello fan. I can't wait. I'm really excited.

Tori Spelling

I have a seven-year-old who is obsessed with Imagine Dragons. So I am in full on Imagine Dragons anthem land and I can't stop. It's it's great, it's good, but you know, it's definitely always on.

Young Hollywood

How long does it take you to usually get ready for a show like this?

Shawn Mendes

Um, an hour and a half.

Young Hollywood

Oh, that's not that's not bad.

Shawn Mendes

Yeah, because I I don't really I don't really care about appearances, like actually.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, you're just like ready to perform and be out there, yeah. is one have you seen any performers that behind the stage, that you've got to say hi to, or anyone you're looking forward to seeing perform?

Shawn Mendes

I just said hi to um, E. N. D. O. And he he smelled really good. He smelled really good.

Young Hollywood

That's a good compliment. People like to hear that. Yeah, yeah. Who's one person you'd want to collab with?

Shawn Mendes

Becky G.

Young Hollywood

You should talk to her, you should go find her.

Shawn Mendes

Yeah, I should I should I think I should like just wandering around looking for Becky G. now on.

Young Hollywood

Have you ever helped but us know? Speaking of amazing performances, is there anyone you're looking forward to seeing tonight?

Danielle Fishel

Yeah, Shawn Mendes. And my friend Diplo, of course.

Young Hollywood

Who would your who do you think your kids would be obsessed with seeing tonight?

Danielle Fishel

Uh, Camila Cabello, they're like, oh, that's so cool. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Do you use TikTok? Are your kids on TikTok?

Danielle Fishel

I do use TikTok. I am on TikTok.

Young Hollywood

What's your favorite trend that's been maybe currently or in the past? Favorite like social media trend? Oh my gosh. Or dance. I bet your kids are like dancing around.

Danielle Fishel

They do all the dances and then I'm like, "Hey guys, let's do one together, teach me the dance." And they're like, "No." Absolutely not. No.

Young Hollywood

Well, if you ever want to do a TikTok dance with us, just let us know.

Danielle Fishel

Really? Okay. I'll take that. I'll take you up on that.

Young Hollywood

You have some moves. I bet you do. I don't doubt it. Your kids are probably teaching you. Okay, so Young Hollywood is obsessed with your song.

Becky G

Oh my God, thank you.

Young Hollywood

On repeat all the time. When you when it first started like blowing up, were you like this will really catch on, or you were kind of like, what did you think about it?

Becky G

I was always waiting for it to peak, or I guess I was I I kind of stopped paying attention to it that closely because once it kind of like hit number one on the radio and like did the TikTok thing, and I was like, "Okay." Right. I don't need to sit here looking at it every day, just like being like, "What's going to happen? What's going to be bigger?" You know, um, and just I'm just very grateful for everything that's happened with it, and yeah, especially when it first started happening, I was like, "What is going on?" I remember when it hit 155,000 streams in a day, and I was like, this is it, I need to appreciate it. Like my best friend and I wrote this song together, and I'll forever love that song because of that too, and like we're just like, "Okay, we have to appreciate this." Like, we have to appreciate it. Sit back and actually take it all in. Yeah. And then it ended up hitting like almost six million streams in a day.

Young Hollywood

That's crazy. When you when you hear like girls screaming that song, like cuz obviously you feel a lot when you like even I do it. I was like, I literally like So what like what would you say to all those girls that are like singing the song, even guys too?

Becky G

Um, I'm sorry that they hurt you, but

Young Hollywood

Okay, so Selling Sunset, how do you feel about the reaction to the latest season that just came out?

Guest

I mean, it just keeps getting bigger, so it's it's exciting. I mean, we never expected this. We're having a ton of fun.

Young Hollywood

Do you have TikTok?

Guest

No.

Young Hollywood

So have you seen like anything on Instagram then or anything like TikToks?

Guest

No. No. Well, sometimes people send me stuff. Like there's one of these two women like as me and Brett, and we're like helping each other get dressed. That's kind of funny.

Young Hollywood

What do you what what should we expect maybe to see in the next season?

Guest

Oh, I have no idea. Like it's just whatever's going on in our lives. I literally have no idea.

Young Hollywood

You have your not being photobombed or videobombed by Diplo. That's Diplo. That's Diplo.

Becky G

You know. I didn't know. Like who's this man? Straight up, that's Diplo. That is Diplo.

Young Hollywood

What would you say to him?

Becky G

Oh my God. I don't know. Like I love you. I knew his music. That's that's that's all I need. Maybe a collab. Yeah. I'm ready. I have a song for you. I'll send you my demos. We might be a little sad on the song, but it's fine. Yeah, it's fine, but we make it upbeat with his track. So it's good. Yeah, it's fun, it's flowing.
