Yeah, good to be here. How did you come up with the name The Vamps?

We had loads of words written down on a piece of paper. And Vamp was one of them. And um, we made it The Vamps. With the at the beginning, and an S on the end. Pretty revolutionary, yeah, it's pretty good.

You guys have opened for, for Taylor Swift. Been on these great tours. Didn't you guys just recently reunite too with Shawn Mendez at the Fusion Festival?

Yeah.

It's true that he, um, steals your hairstyle. Is he trying to get your hair?

He confesses it on the day. I didn't, I wasn't aware of it and then he confessed it on the day. So I've actually copyrighted my hair now and speaking to him now.

Now that he says that, I get it. He's totally copying you.

No, I don't know. Just just a little bit. But at least he admits it, right? That's okay.

What about your music video, like Just My Type that you guys shot?

Yeah.

How do you pick a girl that's going to be in the music video? I mean, is that up to you guys? Do you guys get to get together and pick one lucky lady?

No, it's a weird process that, like, cuz it's entirely dependent on their talent and ability, like, to fit the role.

Speaking of Just My Type, what is your type? I mean, do you guys have a type of girl? Or at this age is it just any girl that's pretty?

At this stage we'll take anyone. No, just someone we, I think it's probably the same for all of us. Someone we get on with and that got a good sense of humor.

What do you think about American girls versus British girls?

The fans here that are American are great. We, we've had a couple of fans on the last tour recently. They drive to every show on our tour. So American girls are dedicated. So they make good relationships. Dedicated. Good energy, so they stay awake at the wheel. Um, so yeah. On a road trip, yeah.

Are you someone who prefers texting or calling?

Texting actually. Yeah.

Calling?

Calling. Yeah, I prefer calling. Yeah. Calling. Depends because you don't always have time for like a lengthy conversation. If it's like what time am I seeing you, that's not a phone call away, you know what I mean? So, it depends on the situation.

Okay. It can be nerve racking to call, right? It's like what do I say? I get too nervous to call. I always text. Okay, most important quality you look for in someone.

Doesn't take themselves too seriously. Yeah, can laugh at something like seriously, if something serious happens and it's like not funny and they laugh.

I've always wanted to have, um, turquoise like colored hair. You do. Now I do. Guilty. Okay. Long baths. But there's no guilt involved there. No shame in a nice warm bath. Okay. My favorite film is The Notebook and I don't think it's, I'm not, I'm not offended. by anyone that likes that. So I think I'm I'm yeah, I'm fine with mine.

It's a great movie. It's not guilty though, is it? Everyone loves The Notebook. What's your ideal first date?

I think walking around, just enjoying it. Making a park. Something fun, yeah. Like a crazy golf course. Yeah, just a good. Crazy golf thing is fun. You know you can have a joke and talk at the same time. And if you're hungry, have some lunch. You have some food.

Last question of the game. Do you kiss on the first date?

If the first date warrants a kiss, have a kiss. Why not? Right? Go with the moment.

No, I'm sure it's terrible. This is the lounge. Front lounge. So we have the plasma. This is where Fortnite happens. Right here. PS4 and all that other stuff to here and surround sound is really cool. There's all the, the, uh, kitchen equipment going on. So that's and then we got a fridge. It's just a lot of random stuff. We got that lager in there. Got soft drinks. Champagne. Then we have the bunks. I believe this is mine. That's yours. And I'm opposite you. I'm up there. And they've put a charger and a free phone. We used your We used your bunk for like the power source for like two days. Power source, perfect. And then there's another, I think this is the shower. There is a shower on this one, yeah. It's like a boyband thing, right, to look unshowered and disheveled. Put some grease in the hair and rock and roll. It's true. And then another lounge. We usually set up the studio here. We put the recording equipment here. Um, Con's allergic to nuts so I don't know why this is in here. So we have peanuts in everywhere. Stick that in there. Keep me out of the back lounge. Yeah, keep him out of the recording studio because he creates too much hits. Too many hits. Too many hits. Right, thank you very much for coming on our bus. We've enjoyed it.
