Chosen has shown unrivalled competitive instincts and bountiful professionalism throughout his career, making him a standout for the NFL. Currently, Chosen is a free agent hoping to join the NFL for their next season and has been training tirelessly to make his mark. Check out our exclusive interview with Chosen to learn more about his life, legacy, and the people closest to his heart!

YH: What made you fall in love with football?

RC: The joy and happiness football brought me in my youth were unmatched. It was my escape, a way for me to feel free, and it showed me that I could achieve something special in life by pursuing a sport I truly enjoyed.

YH: Do you have any rituals you do before a game?

RC: No rituals, just a routine to prepare my mind and body. I honestly stay chill, not getting too excited or nervous.

YH: You previously went by Robbie Anderson when you initially started your career in the NFL. Was there any significance to you changing your name?

RC: I felt like I was entering a new chapter of life, and I wanted to redefine my presence and solidify my legacy.

YH: You previously started at Temple University to play college football for the school. What are some standout memories you have with your time there?

RC: My senior year was unforgettable — playing against Notre Dame with College GameDay in attendance, a sold-out prime-time game, and being a top 25 ranked team that season. This stands out the most to me.

YH: Your wife Sadé Vanessa starred in the Netflix reality series “W.A.G.S to Riches”. What’s it been like to see your wife thrust into the reality show experience, and what was it like to make some guest appearances on the show?

RC: It’s been a blessing to witness her journey. Knowing her personally and seeing her make a global impact, while being recognized for the kind, positive person she is, fills me with happiness for her. It’s been amazing to support her career and be a part of some of those special moments.

YH: You recently just had your first child, a baby girl named Charm – Congrats! How has first-time fatherhood been for you, and what are some of your favorite things about Charm?

RC: Fatherhood has been amazing, and I truly enjoy every moment of it. I love and appreciate how beautiful she is, and seeing her smile and her little movements when she’s excited bring me joy. Creating lifelong memories with her and having her with us now is something I’ll always cherish.

YH: Who have been some of your biggest supporters throughout your career?

RC: Answering this in detail would be like writing an essay, and I don’t want to single anyone out because I’ve received support from so many. My family, friends, teammates, coaches, trainers, fans, and even people I encounter randomly on a daily basis. I’m truly grateful for all the support and belief people have shown me.

YH: Currently, you’re looking to realign yourself with an NFL team and join a roster for the next season. How do you think these teams will benefit from having a veteran wide receiver like you on the roster?

RC: I believe they can benefit from my skill set, speed, and the untapped potential I still have. My veteran leadership and presence allows me to guide younger players in becoming professionals. Additionally, my energy, perspective, and positivity help support and uplift those around me in reaching their goals.

YH: What things are you doing to prepare for your return to the NFL?

RC: Staying consistent with my workouts, conditioning, and keeping focused on improving my game while always being a student of the sport to learn and get better.

YH:  What else can people expect from you in 2025?

RC: It’s about evolution continuing to step into my purpose and fulfilling the greatness God has destined for me. I’ve been focused on networking, planting seeds, and doing my part to nurture them.

We wish Chosen and his family the best of luck and hope to see him back on the field soon!
