Mr. K, I'm going to give you that football. Yes. A little prop for you. Yep. Wide receiver, Titans. Yes. You get the call. It's your moment. Walk me through the 24 hours leading up to that call.

Guest

Well, the day before, cuz it was day one first. You know, it was uh kind of a long day. You know, I was expecting to be picked in day one. And then, you know, I kind of slipped into the second, so I'll say that last back 12 hours was pretty irritating. Just kind of irritated with what was going on. You know, not understanding what was going on, but at the end of the day, I ended up understanding like, God going to put me in the right position at the right time, and where I need to be for everything that's going on. Second guest: Didn't eat, was running out of water and Gatorade the entire day. I didn't want to talk to my people. Didn't want to talk about any of the scenarios that could have happened. Got through the red carpet, made our way to the green room and just wait there. It is a long day watching each and every pick. Day three came. Knew I was going to go early day three. And at that point, it was really just waiting in uh Vegas. I had got a phone call and uh it said Nevada. And I was like, oh shoot. Like, you about to go to Vegas. And uh yeah, picked up the phone, and yeah, it was Omar Omar Young on the phone, and uh Spy Tech, he was on the phone also. Third guest: Excitement, really. Um, I really didn't try to think about it too much when I first woke up. I knew that I had to get through a lot of things before I really, you know, got the call. But then, uh, when I finally get the call, you know, it was it was such a blessing. Fourth guest: Man, honestly, I was just chilling with my family. We just watching, you know, first round seeing Fernando Omar get drafted. And then next thing you know, like, you know, the next day, we was preparing for it. Honestly, didn't know what was going to happen. Ended up getting drafted on day two, and it's just been a blessing. Fifth guest: Yeah, I was nervous. I was super nervous. Um, but again, I I had no really expectations of what was going to happen. Once my name got called, it was it was all up from there. Sixth guest: The 24 hours leading up to the draft was definitely like the emotions was high. You know, it was definitely stressful, and it was just like crazy. It was surreal to me just because, you know, you dream of a moment your whole life, and then you're finally living in it. Seventh guest: I wasn't too nervous. Um, what I was just like excited to see where I was going, but right before we got there, and we seen all them people, I got nervous. That's when it all settled in. Eighth guest: Very stressful. You know, it's it's kind of that period where it's uh, wait, wait and find out what what it's like. And I think, um, you know, all the added stress is just it just makes the moment all the more better. You know, when you you hear your name called, and you finally get that that call.

Young Hollywood

How many family members and or friends have asked for tickets already?

Guest

Um, a lot. You know, my parents and my my siblings, they'll be taking care of. There have been, you know, a bunch of people outside of, you know, them who have been asking for tickets. Second guest: Zero.

Young Hollywood

What? Second guest: Yeah, zero. That's how I know they're real. Third guest: Mm. None of them. Friends? I'll say friends. But I only got but so many tickets, so we'll see what happens. Fourth guest: Sure, it's it's my ticket. I'm going to give him a ticket. We'll get the tickets. Fifth guest: Since the schedule just dropped today, I've gotten a few texts finding out uh uh if I can uh help them get some tickets, but uh I I I'll make no promises because I I know how that can get. Sixth guest: Not not a lot. I already told them like, yo, you gotta pay for everything in the league, so if you want to ticket, come with your money. Seventh guest: I got a big family. I got 10 siblings, 15 nieces, you know, six nephews, so probably about 35 tickets.

Young Hollywood

Oh my goodness. What does that football mean to you, sir?

Guest

This football's what got me standing here right now. It bring a lot of memories back, definitely. It's something that we always had around the crib. Um, something I always played with. And uh, it just reminds me of, you know, where I came from, how much hard work it took. Um, so, you know, to see this it definitely, you know, brings a lot of memories. Second guest: It means everything. Ball security is job security. You know, the program is about the ball. You know, you don't ever turn it over. You don't ever put it on the ground, and the defense got to create takeovers. Third guest: This ball means everything to me. You know, being a younger kid, this this foam football, um, a lot of memories with these with these type of footballs, whether it was in the house, outside, in the yard. And I think just being able to grow up as a little kid and and and start around footballs like this, and then grow to the big scene, I think it it shaped me to be the not only the football player that I am, but the wide receiver. Fourth guest: This football means to me everything. When that ball's in the air, it's mine. Um, when I see it, it just brings me a a smile on my face, and you know, just It's honestly like a joy to me. Like, just looking at it's like a joy.

Young Hollywood

Could you ever imagine you would be picked eighth overall in the draft? Here we are in 2026.

Guest

Yeah, no, never in my life. Not even last year, not the year before that. Not when I was a little kid. Not when I was in middle school, never. And um, it really didn't settle in until going through the draft process, going through the top 30 visits, getting a lot of alone time and just times in the hotel and stuff. It really settled in that this was this was a real opportunity, and this was going to really happen, so I've never been in a snow. What are you looking forward to? Skiing, snowboarding, building a snowman? What do you think? Second guest: Building a snowman. I mean, that's definitely like something I want to do since a kid. Third guest: QB one, I feel it. That that's the dream, you know, we got to put in the work and do we do, but whatever happens, happens, you know. Not a lot of expectations, but again, I I set the highest expectations for myself and put the work in, and hopefully everything else, you know, falls behind them. Fourth guest: Welcome to the party. Fifth guest: Absolutely. Thank you.

Young Hollywood

Could you ever imagine? Uh, Or you knew, or you knew. Sixth guest: I mean, where I come from, you know, all you can do is dream for for times like this, so just to be able to be living in the moment, just, you know, it it just makes me um realize how blessed I am and and and that I'm chosen.

Young Hollywood

Now, when you go to Vegas, you can't spend the money that you're going to make. At all. At all. At all. What's the first thing you want to purchase?

Guest

Um, looking to get a house, and then probably get probably upgrade my car. I got a Dodge Challenger right now, probably end up getting a a BMW or something like that. Second guest: I mean, I know I'm going to set my mom and dad up on some type of plan. I'm going to get them right. Make sure I can be there for my brothers with whatever happens, you know, spoil spoil my nephew.

Young Hollywood

Buy your granny a nice spot in Chicago. You going to tell your granny, tell me how much she means to you. She must be on your side or the moon.

Guest

Granny's like, granny say she's young. Granny's only like 62.

Young Hollywood

62 is Young Hollywood, cuz you know what our motto is? It's not about age. It's about attitude.

Guest

Yeah, like she just sent yeah. She just sent her a picture to to the group chat this morning. Second guest: We didn't got mom what she needs. You know what I'm saying? Look, NL is a thing now, you know, so um, yeah, we'll we'll take care of mom, for sure.

Young Hollywood

What do you want for yourself as a celebratory, I did this purchase?

Guest

I mean, I live in Denver, and the car I have now kind of don't correlate with how Denver weather is. So I'm definitely going to be looking for a new car soon. Second guest: Saving, trying to create generational wealth.

Young Hollywood

Good. So you're going to be going with the famous QB Fernando. Walk me through that feeling.

Guest

Um, I gotten a chance to, you know, run some plays with him. And, you know, it's been times where I didn't know a couple plays, and he told me right away, you got this. Yeah, so, I mean, he's he's locked in, and I feel like that's what you need out of a quarterback.

Young Hollywood

Guest

I mean, NFL playbook for sure. Um, but you learn it. You get through it, but you got to be a master at it at the end of the day. Second guest: Oh, college finals? Uh, nah, the NFL playbook is way harder than a final. No way. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
