The world's biggest sporting event has officially taken over Southern California, and while fans are packing stadiums across the region for the FIFA® World Cup 2026™, one of the most unexpected places to celebrate is just up the coast.

At LEGOLAND® California Resort, soccer fever has gone full LEGO.

Through July 19, the park's limited-time FIFA® World Cup 2026 Experience invites guests to step off the sidelines and into the action with interactive games, larger-than-life LEGO builds, and plenty of photo-worthy moments celebrating the beautiful game. It's quickly become one of the hottest family destinations during the tournament, attracting not only soccer fans but some familiar Hollywood faces as well. Celebrity visitors including Meghan Trainor, Hilary Swank, Nick Cannon, and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes have already stopped by with their families to experience the festivities as World Cup excitement sweeps across Southern California.

"Knowing how many soccer families out there won't be able to attend the World Cup in person, we're excited to transform LEGOLAND California Resort into a celebration of soccer fandom and LEGO play at the exclusive FIFA® World Cup 2026 Experience, which only runs through July 19," said LEGOLAND California Resort’s Communications Director Julie Estrada. "This event is truly designed to capture the spirit of match day, where kids and families can celebrate the world’s biggest soccer tournament through hands-on building, interactive challenges, and unforgettable photo opportunities."

The experience blends soccer, creativity, and hands-on fun in classic LEGOLAND fashion. Guests can test their skills in challenges like Spot Shot, Super Squad, and The Kick Off before celebrating atop a winner's podium. Around every corner are opportunities to meet brick-built versions of some of the world's biggest soccer stars, design custom LEGO jerseys, and snap a selfie with the iconic LEGO FIFA® World Cup Trophy.

One of the biggest crowd-pleasers is the newly transformed LEGO model of SoFi Stadium. Already one of the most recognizable displays inside MINILAND U.S.A., the stadium has received a FIFA® World Cup makeover complete with thousands of additional LEGO bricks, soccer-themed details, and Team USA touches that celebrate Los Angeles's role as one of the tournament's biggest host cities.

"Master Model Builders gave our LEGO version of SoFi stadium, made of a whopping 500,000 LEGO bricks, a complete soccer-themed makeover," said Estrada. "Using an additional 15,000 LEGO pieces, they spent 15 hours recreating team U.S.A.’s first game played in the Southern California stadium for our guests to get 'front row seats' at the World Cup."

While matches continue across North America, LEGOLAND California is giving families another way to experience the excitement between games. Whether you're heading to a match, watching from home, or simply soaking up the World Cup atmosphere, the park delivers a celebration that's uniquely Southern California, and uniquely LEGO.

It's also a reminder that some of the best World Cup moments aren't always happening inside the stadium. Sometimes they're built one LEGO brick at a time.

Game on!
