ICYMI: Jennifer Garner Celebrates Yes Day With a New Movie on the Way!
Jennifer Garner has been doing this with her three kids for the past six years, and she recently marked another day of no "no"s in the books. She posted to Instagram a video of herself going down a huge indoor slide, writing “#YesDay 2018” and “#deeplyregrethis.”
Her first Yes Day post after joining Instagram last year sparked the trend amongst parents to host their own Yes Days for their kids, but Jennifer didn’t coin the idea herself. She was inspired by the children’s book Yes Day! by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, where parents say yes to all kiddos’ requests for 24 hours, no matter how silly... or how messy.
We no longer have to imagine how fantastic a day of "yes" would look, because a movie is on the way. Jennifer is set to produce and star in a comedic adaptation of the book.
Miguel Arteta is also attached to the film as the director. He worked with Jennifer previously on Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day with Steve Carell, Dylan Minnette, and Bella Thorne. If that’s any indication of the fun in store for Yes Day, we can’t wait to see it!
Yes Day is still in the early stages of development. Stay tuned for updates!
