U.S. football player Russell Wilson has taken a vow of celibacy in his new relationship with singer Ciara.
The Goodies hitmaker started dating Wilson in April (15) following her split from fiance Future in October (14), and the candid sportsman reveals he asked Ciara if she wanted to abstain from sex because of his religious beliefs during a question-and-answer session at The Rock church on Sunday (05Jul15).
He said, "I asked her what would you do if we took all that other stuff off the table and did it Jesus' way?
"I said to her, 'Can we love each other without that (sex)?' If you can really love each other without that then you can really love somebody."
But Wilson admits it's tough to stay celibate, because his girlfriend is "a 15 out of 10."
He said to chuckling churchgoers, "I need ya'll to pray for us."
